Hunt is indeed playing at 5/8 with Foran at hooker.

Hunt directs play to the right via Ma'afu but the ball pops out of the tackle and Penrith get a reprieve.

Mosesly draws a penalty for Penrith with a clever run on the last which catches the markers offside.

Wenty concede another penalty on the goal line for not making the line as Penrith go on the attack again.

Some solid defence from our right edge forces Penrith to go to the other side and they get a repeat set with a nice grubber that forces Faraimo to run it dead.

Rawalui shuts down an overlap on the right edge with a decisive read. Came close to taking the intercept but it ends up getting knocked down for a Penrith scrum.

Shades of the Moylan/John try there as Wes Naiqama goes through after his fellow player drifted in field from the sideline.

The inside men didn't mark up on the support runners and Wenty have been breached for the opening try today.

Naiqama converts his own try.

Penrith lead 6-0

Morgan makes a nice read on the inside ball to shut down the play before Penrith bomb it on the last.

Faraimo takes it easily and Wenty will play it from their 10m line.

Cummins and Santi pinch good metres before Lasalo lays a great platform for Kelly to kick on the last.

He obliges his big man and nails in into the corner for a Penrith scrum 10m from their goal line.

Foran goes looking for a big bit but his arm slides up and the ref correctly calls the penalty.

Penrith find the line near halfway for the new set.

Ma'afu makes a great tackle in the ruck before Cummins forces an error with some great speed from marker.

Wenty scrum 25m from their goal line.

Ualesi takes a solid hit u from the scrum before Junior juggles the ball before regaining control.

Hunt takes play to the left with Santi before we head back in field.

Kelly bombs it on the last but it isn't a great kick. Cummins chases well though and completes a good tackle.

Foran loses the ball while taking a hit up for some reason and Penrith shift it to the right straight away.

Junior Paulo does well to hunt down Tom Eisenhuth down the right edge but Wenty give away a penalty as the ball trickles out.

More pressure for our right edge as Penrith direct all the traffic that way and there is yet another penalty.

Either Hunt or Tangira make a good read on the sweeper on the left but fails to complete the tackle which leads to Eto Nabuli scoring on our left.

Naiqama brings it back in for the conversion.

Penrith lead Wenty 12-0

20m gone.

Great tackle from Santi and Tangira forces an error from Nabuli on the kickoff.

Solid run from Junior brings play to the right of sticks before a backline movement breaks down between Kelly and Cummins.

Penrith ball 10m from their goal line.

Fantastic run from Bureta up the middle as he breaks multuple tackles and goes 20m.

Junior smashes another Panther which gives Wenty the time and space to come down left.

Cummins has a chance to put Faraimo away but the pass is awry and the big winger does very well to clean it up and nearly score.

Play breaks down again for Wenty but there is some luck as the ref calls for a Magpie scrum.

Junior Paulo earns a well deserved reward for his early efforts as he carries three defenders over the line for a try with sheer power.

Hunt did very well from the scrum win in that set, coming very close from the first run before Junior barged over.

Foran is handling the kicking today and starts well.

Wenty trail Penrith 6-12

26min gone.

Penalty for Wenty takes them into Penrith's half.

Lasalo has a nice carry and better offload to Cummins who pinches good metres.

Kelly goes to Hunt who finds Tangira but there isn't enough time for him to link up with Faraimo.

Kelly puts up a much better kick on the last which falls 1m short of the goal line.

Rawalui contests the ball and it falls back into the waiting arms of Ryan Morgan who dives over in the right corner.

Good movement from Wenty down the left edge as Kelly finds Bureta with some room to move.

Solid fifth tackle kick pins Penrith inside their 10m.

Wenty defend well and Rawalui finds the fifth tackle kick with all the time in the world.

Junior Paulo tries to burrow over from dummy half but loses the ball and Wenty compound the turnover with a penalty shortly after.

Penrith may them pay with a smart movement on our right-edge that sees Watene-Zelezniak scoring near the mosts.

Naiqama converts it.

Penrith lead Wenty 18-12

37min gone.

Paulo gives Cummins some space with an offload and he does well to get the ball to Santi on the left.

Brendan runs into half a gap before coming in field where he his hit high causing play to come to a halt.

Santi is in some discomfit and comes off.

One last play for Wenty as the siren rings out.

Kelly calls the shot and puts in a well weighted grubber that gives Rawalui a fair sniff at a meat pie but it is just cleaned up by Penrith.

Half Time

Wenty trail Penrith 12-18

how is tim grant from penrith going

Solid showing from Grant thus far mate. A couple of good carries but he isn't dominating the game.

Junior is the best prop on the field at the moment followed by Lasalo but Penrith have looked sharp on the edges.
