You don't give up that kind of capital unless your guy is a day 1 starter.

Shanny is the qb guru though, so lance is a possibility. Watch him draft Mac Jones now

My boys sitting pretty at 4 now. Gotta think 3 QBs go before us, leaving the best player on the board, or the possibility of a team like Denver or Carolina giving up a boatload for that 4th QB

A month ago I would've said yes. But we've restructured Matt Ryan so we're tied to him at least the next two years.

Now we'd only be getting the 4th best QB. And Arthur Smith turned Ryan Tannehill around, stands to reason he can do better with a former league mvp

Chase Daniels has a good life another year easy 1.5million to tell Herbert what to do. I think the Dolphins have done some good business overall 6 1st round picks in the next 3 years. Don't know why you would give up on Tua after like 5 games.

I read he's made $40m in his career so far. Has he even started a game yet?

What a life. Hold a clipboard and rake in millions.

With the acculumation of first round picks, we can always try again if Tua doesn't work out. Can give him a good chance to succeed though.
Get a good O-Line so he doesn't get murdered like Andrew Luck and some targets and see what he does.

Historical bets placed a few weeks ago
First RB Javonte Williams $10 @ $8
Mac Jones O3.5 - $20 @ $3.08
Davonta Smith O11.5 - $20 @ $1.96
Jaylen Waddle U11.5 - $20 @ $1.91

New bets:

Over/Unders
Ian Book O207.5 - $20 @ $1.87
Eric Stokes U47.5 - $20 @ 1.87
Micah Parsons U12.5 - $20 @ $2.10
Ja’Marr Chase U5.5 - $20 @ $1.77

#3 pick - Trey Lance - $20 @ $3.75

Chase, Harris, Sewell - $20 @ $2.30
Lawrence, Wilson, Lance, Pitts - $20 @ $6.50
Chase, Waddle, Smith, Bateman -$20 @ $4.50

Lance vs Fields - $20 @ $2.34
Bateman vs Toney - $20 @ $1.73

Locked in now, figure news on boards will start to get leaked out soon, i full expect the niners pick to be known by Thursday morning
So now is the time to take my swings!

Not super wild about my Javonte bet a few weeks ago, would like that one back, and im investing with my heart of about the Niners not taking Mac, which all evidence points to being wrong, but im going with my heart... otherwise, feel good about these bets.

Will do my final non trade and trade mocks in the next few days.

That would be my pick, but Mac Jones just feels more like a Shanny QB.

I suspect that if they take Mac Jones its going to be like 2005 with taking Alex Smith over Aaron Rogers. Jones may be NFL ready due to the system he played in, but that was with top level talent at every position. No NFL team has that. Further Jones is one who may be ready but seems to be at close to his top potential, others have more to give which will see them surpass Jones after the first season as they develop.

Also Jones did it over 1 season. I'd rather a player who shown their ability it over more than 1 season at collegiate level. Mac Jones only played at a high level in his last season. He was not better than average in 2019.

Personally I'd rather the 49ers take Justin Fields. You want a player who you gave up 3 first round picks for to develop into a superstar. I doubt Mac Jones will. I think Fields will.
