They are an interesting mob though. Their football firm, the Bushwackers were the first to have mixed race and blacks going back to the late 70s.

Also Bermondsey is an area where a lot Irish immigrants settled which is why compared to other football firms Millwall do not have a large loyalist following. It nevertheless is old National Front territory (they used to get 16% of the vote).

As I said, an interesting mob, their politics are all over the place.

No doubt, and I never said that hooliganism was a huge problem today.

Theo has pretty much snuffed it out inside the Den and amoungst the away support. The ongoing problem for the club however is the fact that their stadium is situated right next to housing estates so even people banned from the ground or local residents that don't have much interest in the club tend show up outside the ground after a game looking for trouble.

They have to be a member to get into the ground with photo ID and i mean some people get involved into fighting because they drink alot and get passionate about the game i mean theres millionares and christians and mechanics everyone get involved. They used to fight for fun though but there arnt many deaths.

It was great atmosphere at Kogarah and St George's day. The lads just rolled over the top and whenever the Tigers had the ball, Saints just hammered them.

It was like watching unlimited tackle football.
