Great find Horrie. So much gold when it came to unpublished music and film was destroyed in the 2008 Universal Studios fire.

This is a scene that was cut from the theatrical version of The Towering Inferno and apparently isn't on the deleted scene extras of the special edition DVD or blu ray releases ( i will have to dig out my copies and check later on ) the deleted scene is from about 43 seconds to 1.24 seconds.

The shear scale of the sets and brilliant Direction, Full Metal Jacket is super. Stanley Kubrick did not want to film over seas, so he and his team converted an abandoned gas factory in the Uk to substitute Vietnam.The palm trees were imported and planted to add to the authenticity.
