Hey all i remember a game this season where the crowd was allowed on the field think this might be a good idea for the fans.

have a siren or something that blows that states all the players and staff are off and you can kick a footy around. (AFL have something like this)Maybe even have one half of the feild to parents and kids under 18 on one side.

maybe even think about keeping the canteens open for food and drinks no alcohol for people that are worried about some fans :D drinking to much.In the case that beers and such arnt sold might give some fans a chance to straighten up.With a kick of the footy and a feed.:)

The AFL call it Kick to Kick. The have it at some venues but not all of them.

The problems with what you are talking about are more about the costs of security (per hour) and the Cost of keeping the Food and drink open (again in hours or Part there of) personally I would love to have something at Parramatta stadium that is a lot like what the ANZ Stadium gold members get after a big event, that is the dinning room opened with Coffee and a Bar. If you could then incorporate that with a post match function, that would be fantastic.

I have hear from many parents that their kids arn't able to attend night games, for example the 7:30 games or if they do they are normally asleep in the car before they leave the car park. Also you have to worry about the field in those cases. After a rainy game, I am not sure I want 2000 people running and falling all over the field, especially if it has to come up for a game 5 days or less later.

It works occasionally, maybe the odd Sunday or a Saturday night 5:30 game, but certain conditions would have to be meet first.

Also remember that we are not the only tenant at the stadium and the surface cops a pounding at certain times of the year to a point where the centre area at Parramatta Stadium starts to look a little bare.

yea of coarse within reason, again its not speical if its every week.I think the sunday weather permitting. So when ya go to a sunday game you know the kids can have a kick.

We need to get to the stage where we are doing more for our fans then other clubs.I think we can always agree we need to move "forward". :p

Mate, there is so much we should be doing for the fans, and I was asked when I bought up some things that were done last year but not this year, I was asked to tell the club what they should be doing, which I found disappointing. But send and e-mail to game day with your suggestions and they may be acted upon.

Then again Sundays we would all love a post match function I think.

the fans are allowed onto brookie after every home game

Yes but ask any player that has ever played at Brookvale and they will tell you it is a cow paddock. It is the heaviest ground in the NRL to play on and is not conducive to Fast football. Most players are heavily fatigued after playing on that Pitch.

good lordy... wait until little johnny trips over a divot and sprains his ankle...or when little katie gets donked on the head by a stray kicked footy....then all the compo lawyers start ordering their new bmw's.

One idea I think that just popped into my head is perhaps a members lunch on the ground itself in the pre season.

I was thinking about the "Breakfast on the Bridge" event thats going on and I thought about how something similar could be done for our members.

It wouldn't be too difficult to set up, there are sufficient cooking facilities at the stadium. Portable bars can be set up almost anywhere.

I mean actually setting up tables on the ground itself and then having a buffet set up with a BBQ.

Its just a thought, something unique that could be offered for members and Im sure the Stadium Trust would be open to the idea and sharing some costs.

I'd like the opportunity to get on the field after the game with you peej.
I'd put up a towering bomb and massacre you before you caught it.
That would be fun. I'd even pay to repair the turf where you get buried.
