One of the worst...

The Jets tried very little but given they were trying to get out of their own quarter for much of the game especially in a GF is understandable.

It was a very lacklustre game though but the closeness made it a spectacle, much like watching a car accident, I guess. Very few breaks but it was physical.

I thought it contained certain elements of skill. Wenty were busting holes through them but when they got within 20 metres of the goal line the Jets just kept denying them. The problem was that both teams just wanted it over and so were single minded and only working for field goals. If Wenty had of been patient and kept attacking the game would have ended sooner and been regarded far better.

From where I sat in the ground I thought it was one of the toughest games that I've ever seen and a fantastic advertisment for the NSW Cup. Tough, no holds barred game between two fantastically matched teams. And as for the field goal attempts... Maybe it was down to the other side's pressure on the kicker putting them off????????

Anyway, up the Mighty Jets, we'll be back bigger and stronger next year!!!

I thought it was a pretty darn good GF, but most people seem to forget that it is at Reserve Grade level. It isn't going to be at the same intensity as a 1st Grade game as the players are just not the same calibre.

I dont know which NSW cup most of you were watching but everyone Ive spoken too and the people I watched it with were making coments such as one of the best games of RL theyd seen, very exiting and entertaining, some ofv the field goal attempts were funny, Ive just watched it again and Foleys attempt for the Jets was only 2 or so inches under the cross bar, the game would have been perfect for me if hed got that, obviously I support the Jets. I gues there are a lot of half glass empty people out there, for the rest of us it was a great game

No...this place is full of whinging bastards who have to pick the bones out of everything and feel the need to complain at every waking moment.
A quality game of footy which was so evenly matched it took almost a record to separate them.
Sure the pace slowed towards the end and there were some basic errors but FMD, if you made 65 tackles in 1 game (Which Newtown player Jake Friend did on Sunday) you would probably drop more than a footy in the 104th minute of a Grand Final...:crazy:
