Capes has played centre for us a few times and been really good there too.

I don't think poor old Capes has stepped a player in all the years he has been with us Sharks.

Over time he has perfected the step back inside, lose the footing and slip on your arse before the 'D' gets to him.

But he does try hard.

No he’s not a stepper.

More suited to the forwards but if he holds his own in defence out wide, it doesn’t matter so much.

I haven’t taken much notice of his defence in the centres. What is the consensus??

Basically concedes as he dives into the defender.
This means he will never push thru and come out the other side.

He needs training.
Bad habits.
Hes rangy.
A hit and spin maybe. To get an offload.

But he has to stay upright.
