The Question is who was under performing, the coach or the players.
It looks like the problem that Suity has referred to in 2003 and that we have all been taking about for a while has been with the players ? They changed something, their Attitude.
Sure Smith can do what ever before every game but if the players don't feel confident in themselves when the cross that white line there is nothing Brian can do.
It seems as though the players had to have a good hard look at themselves with out any holds bared.
I have been in meetings like that were we see what has been happening and work to fix it. You come out with renewed vigour. That is what has happened at our club. They have had a look at themselves and said stuff all these other issues (in their personal lives or whatever) and start to win football games.
But Guys it is only 2 wins. You never know what can happen in a game of rugby league.
By the way Misty I think your little go on me and HJ is an attack on my opinion, and I would think someone of your stature would play the ball and not the man. I have seen how a real football team plays, watching 1981 - 1986 premierships plus a great run of seasons in 1997 - 2001. I have seen a real football club, and further more I can see though a struggling one, to see improvement and that is what gives me a little more faith in my club.
But hey it is only 2 wins.
