Good way to put it...
Think back 5 weeks & we would have loved that performance, a win is a win, but I agree WT seem to play at the same level as their opponents. Looking forward to next week.
Good way to put it...
The Tigers played ordinary. Panthers were under strengthed but we played sideways with early ineffective little kicks. Moltzen played best game of season - just up from terrible but was improvement. After watching Bronx/Cowboys game their F/B's are far superior. Forwards do too much shimmy work, slowing them down before line, making them easy pickings - need to run straighter. The game came down to an intercept and a missed knock on by Ayshford whose form since being re signed is downward and coaches well placed big boot urgently required for reprogramming. Big Keithy lost ball several times and Woods gave away silly penalties inviting Panthers back into game. Is there a case for Fifita to be brought back - only played OK against North Sydney? Most disappointing part of game was not being able to defend last scrum, with easy try on 3rd tackle by Panthers - NOT GOOD ENOUGH effort with semis just around corner. Fulton was easily best player on paddock and rightly deserved Man of Match Award.
a gentle breeze could blow parra away. that is a team running on empty if ever ive seen one. honestly..hindmarsh looks like he wants to be euthanized after each of their games. poor guyWe will not beat Parra if we dish out another effort like that,
theyre playing with semi finals intensity those tigers. yes they got a few lucky calls...but they took their opportunities. attacking wise on the fringe, theyre looking bloody awesome.5 wins in a row against 2nd, 4th, 5th and two of our bogey teams. I'm fairly happy at the moment.
Personally I didn't think we were that great.
Robbie had a great start to the game but he didn't go on with it. Benji was quite. The overall performance was pretty average unlike the last couple of weeks.
In saying that we won easily so that is good to see.
