Should be a mandatory post at the top of each page.

Funnily enough I had a quick read of Big Footy this afternoon. Whilst the LU drugs in sport argument appears to be AFL vs NRL, over there it seems to be everyone vs the Bombers.

I finally worked out Ole Dangles' "Go back to Big Poofy" mandatory comment.

If Cronulla fold (which I seriously doubt will happen, their like cockroaches nothing seems to be able to kill them) the Bears will get told to throw a team together using whoever is left on the Sharks books and life go's on.

Spot on - the comment, not the poster.:D

Now that would make for a big story.

Champion, legend and all time great J. Hird exiled from Victoria to live out the remainder of his years in ......................... NSW!!!!

Wouldn't get a passport to enter such a non-corrupt state(NSW).:crazy::D

Are you sure, I heard on the grapevine that honest Macca was seen receiving oriental massages at Sharkies while holy Eddie was perusing maps of NSW looking for his next land purchase in the garden bar.:lol:

he's mates with the fat boy http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/...government-favours-for-afl-20100523-w40j.html

Rugby league officials have been aware for some time of the discussions between NSW Minister Ian MacDonald and AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou, saying they have jointly convinced Premier Kristina Keneally of the showground investment.

CC will never ever get a team and rightfully so

They'd be the only option!

If Cronulla fold then the CC Bears will be the only expansion club that would be able to throw together a team in under a year, the Pirates may have a chance, but being in Perth it needs to be done properly and throwing together a team from the Cronulla roster that will almost certainly not be very successful early on due to all the distractions and added pressure is not setting up a new club in an AFL dominated city with little RL culture properly and would be a recipe for disaster.

they have no more chance of assembling a team than Perth

Perth ad far more to TV and the game in general too

CC is a waste and will never happen
