So 2 or 3 of the "ACC 6" have come out and said their issues are very minor.

Interesting to see that the rest have kept very quiet about how deep in this they are.

I am more f**king wild about this the more I think about it, for all the clubs in the comp too mind you that have done nothing wrong for the actions (still yet unproven mind you) of what seems to be a few.

And it should mean that we are all in this together as a sport and not single entities in trying to belittle the clubs that are under the spotlight.

Even after this is sorted, there very well could be someone else that will in the future risk the chance of being caught and they could be from any club.

What I don't get, is they hauled AFL, NRL, A League and Cricket bosses in.

Told the world Australia has a massive drugs problem.

Tell everyone it's the 'darkest day' in sport. Like EVER!

Thus far, we've got a reserve grader from Norths, someone in the AFL, one confirmed AFL club (Essendon) and six confirmed NRL clubs.

If it's all so systemic, where the f*** are the soccer, cricket players? The netballers? The basketballers? The Olympic teams? Sailors, anglers? Pig-shooters?

FFS, I'm not saying these clubs have done little or a lot, but the hyperbole is unbelievable.

The cost to sports sponsors, credibility, marketability, etc will take a hit.

If it's a handful of RL and AFL players doing the wrong thing, Australian sport has suffered a massive black eye for something whilst serious, but minor. Imagine the s#it all sporties will get now when overseas?

Resilience my friends.. Regardless of what team you support, us NRL fans are a resilient mob. We have been through so much that would cripple any other sport. We always come through better and stronger, the fact of the matter is, Rugby League is the greatest game on earth and it will move on.

One day we might look back on all of this and be thankful... But we can still be pissed off at how piss poor it was handled.

If each club has one or even a couple of dopers, it is still wrong/bad but not the end of the bloody world they've made out.

Hell - the way players swap clubs these days, could be one player who has been at 3 clubs. You never know.

And pig-shooters? Yep...

Already had OS mates ring me and msg giving Australia shit! Wait and see if we win the ashes, the pommie media will bring up the "drugs" in australian sport. This problem will not go away any time soon. That minister needs to be sacked over her handling of this! Trouble is we still have 6 months of these pricks left!

Sounds like the named clubs are being shafted over relatively minor stuff.
Some of them perhaps. But we have very little information on others. 2 or 3 have come out and said their issues are very minor. We don't know how accurate that is and then you have the clubs who haven't said anything at all.

At the end of all of this, we will atleast have 1 answer. Which code has the best spin machine? The NRL or the AFL?

I think the AFL will be kicking all the goals with that contest.
