According to FSN, the Cowboys were named because they have current players who used to play for a club with a dodgy sports scientist.

The Cowboys CEO states this in a Courier Mail article tomorrow, apparently.

Geez, how far back are they talking about?????

If that's the case and if true then 'tentative' is a understatement more like straw-man for the club to be dragged by another club 'dodgy' scientist.

We didn't stand him down because HE'S NOT OUR PLAYER. Norths did.

You're club shouldn't distance itself from the fade. Offer the young man some counselling on it.

That's entirely my point. You need evidence to convict, but where is that going to come from in a system that is unable to detect wrongful use of prohibited substances? Claiming no-one has ever tested positive at any club is hardly an acquittal in this era. The investigation is entirely dependent on testimony under oath, which is clearly going to take some time

You need evidence to accuse as well.

Clubs and players shouldn't be accused if there isn't evidence.

This whole process is a farce.

^ This guy started out just like Curtis Johnston. He got a fade, just once; just for a change, something different.

But the power of the fade was stronger than he thought.

This is how he ended up.

Souths shouldn't let this happen to Curtis.

Get Curtis some counselling.

So Manly are 'low to medium' risk and have now been told that none of their players have tested positive.

Cowboys are a 'lower than low' risk... fingers crossed we're safe.

Never heard from so many lounge chair barristers in my life. Holy shit "lounge chair"; you turkeys should allow the investigation process to take place then whinge or clap.

Some of you have gone of quicker then a virgin on the poor prick's wedding night.

Hey, how long has "Gussie" been colouring his hair again?

Im loving Herbert Henry looking like a luddite after only a week. DEmanding they get evidence now. Insinuating that if there is no evidence it's all something Gillard dreamed up one morning. Can someone explain to the old dinosaur that there is a thing called money that leaves a trail, that takes time to find proof of wrongdoing even though blind freddy, upon seeing that trail, can see more irregularities than a a Souths v Cronulla grand final at the MCG in November?

Hmmm. So the most scrutinized sport in terms of doping can produce a man who never failed a test in 15 years of excessive prohibited drug use, and you have no concerns whatsoever about the accuracy of testing in the NRL? How do you distinguish exogenous vs endogenous human growth hormone in a urine (or blood for that manner) sample?

Poor Herbert can't formulate anything constructive because his head is deeply in sand. It appears that his club's GM has finally seen the light and now supports 'due process'.

For those dismissing ACC, it has a standing power of a Royal Commission. Justice Woods Royal Commission into the NSW Police took about 2 years from 1995 to 1997.

For those whinging about how this process is unfair to innocent players, well i say it's necessary and painful. The above mentioned Commission took its toll on the morale of the police force, including clean ones, but ultimately, it reformed the force and validated innocent officers.

IMO, this process will eventually remove few bad apples and become a strong deterrent for others.

Lol.

Show me where I insinuated gillard dreamed this up. For the thousandth time I said the timing of the announcement was suspicious. I never questioned the actual investigation.

And I demanded we were shown evidence , not that they get it.

I want to see what all the big show is about.

And as I've also said if they can't show us , they should have kept quiet.

I've been 100% consistent with my argument.

But thanks for trying.

You see Herbert, you and I, are not privy to evidence of ongoing criminal investigation. Even though you may think you are so smart, no, ACC won't reveal it to you or others.

It does not mean they don't have evidence.

Clear??

I've always supported due process.

I just dont support the dog & pony show that was put on last week by two federal ministers.

There was no need for that news conference.
