And this gives the media ample opportunity to continue to make a dying story a headline. Nice to see the AFL put up with the same crap we have to deal with. Having said that this is a beat up and the gullible are falling for it.

a man once told me assuming is the mother of all f**k ups.

you may be right, but you dont know whats going on behind closed doors either.

And that is what is feeding this story. A lack of detail. As such the media frenzy feeds itself and the truth is perhaps a mediocre version of the hype.

Go away Ray Hadley.

You are no longer wanted in rugby league.

Stick to talking to grannies on the radio, reading press release after press release, email after email and compiling silly, immature songs.

for the games sake i hope your right mate.

Super League.

"The game" will be fine.

Always has been, always will be.

The sky is not falling.

Global warming has not yet rendered the planet uninhabitable.

There is still oxygen and water.

Food is readily available. Just go to the supermarket to see for yourself.

Sport has always had cheats. Always will.

People are corruptible.

Even judges lie to get off. (Marcus Einfeld)

Rugby league is no different to other sections of society. There will be members of the league family - players, coaches and admin staff that do wrong.

This is nothing new. However the way it has been handled, and the ongoing nothingness has painted the ACC, the Government and ASADA in a very, very bad light and made them look like fools. They are being ridiculed.

They are now in desperate need of an arrest and/or bans to salvage something from this f**k up. If they come up with nothing the whole lot of them should get the chop.

So nothing new? Is it worth watching or can you say anything interesting has come from this news special?

People are blaming the ACC and ASADA. The problem isn't them. The problem isn't the investigations. We all want the truth to come out. The problem is the stupid timing of the press conference.

I think in hindsight it's pretty obvious that Lundy and Clare know the government is going to lose 8 months from now, they'll be in opposition, there will be oppurtunities for promotions. They used this to lift their profile so they're in the box seat when Labor is replacing the likes of Gillard and Swan after the election.

And they didn't care if they ruined the reputation of hundreds of people in multiple sports infront of the entire world.

Chillax Nobody,

It was directed more toward Magpie. He's talking about the earth being flat for christ sake.

I hope you all saw the interview with the ASADA boss on the Ch 9 program, specifically the question about how she arrived at the number 150 people to be "interviewed".
