He probably did know what he could and couldn't take, but I suppose that's half the point. There was so much deceit about what they were being given that he couldn't have known whether what he was being given was ok.

He sued over a bunch of articles. One the jury found that news ltd claim was true (the one discussed here), the other the jury found that the article did not convey the meaning dank claimed and the final one the jury found he had been defamed (that he gave the players warfarin)

News ltd lawyers are arguing that any compensation for the last article should be minimum because the jury accepts dank did a lot worse

When 2 narcissists like Hird and Dank get together only bad things can happen, Dank was clearly using the players as guinea pigs and Hird just wanted to keep winning no matter what so demanded the players kept taking whatever Dank offered. The players really should have stood up to these 2 but Hird is a club legend and they were winning (they won like 10?straight on the PEDs) so I can understand why they kept hitting up, costly mistake.

Essendon are very lucky they still exist, the players are very lucky they weren't banned for life. It was systematic cheating, plain and simple.

'Supplements', it wasn't vitamin C, they were banned drugs. This saga has a long way to run. Most of these players at the clubs involved will eventually want to know what they were injected with. They may be motivated by the recent court ruling against Dank.
