All trying to slow the play the ball down, this is why the game is suffering from players doing deliberate things to slow it down.

Maybe...... I don't think it is the sole intention of any player in any team that flops/leg lifts to slow the play the ball down though, I think they are just often too lazy to complete a proper tackle, or they see an opportunity to take a player into touch without the ref noticing

We wouldnt have spear tackles if they were trying to hold the player up and slow the game down. Trying the get the player on their back which leads to dangerous tackles...

Its all a bit iffy.
