Those tackle stats are surprising.

Gidley made 30? Creagh 29? (in one half?)

Didn't notice Thurston get subbed either.

One odd thing I noticed was that NSW's forwards missed barely any tackles (except Creagh with 4), and QLD's pack missed a lot more... but of course the backs missed a lot more than QLD.

Hmmm...according to here Thurston didn't go off at all, but Hayne only played 72 mins? Odd again.

You'd hope so considering how compressed the NSW defence was.

lol yes indeed fair call there...just still doesn't look right for a 30 point romp!

Pearce making 29 tackles..so what are the forwards doing if your halback has to make that many tackles..no wonder there was little enterprise in the Blues attack.

I also saw Pearce make a few hitups. Something is badly wrong when your halves are doing the monkey work up the middle (saw Barrett take a couple up as well).

Hayne owned the stats and people still think he didn't play well,LOL dopes.

I don't think anyone thinks he played crap because everyone knows he didnt really get a chance to play at all with the forward pack we have.

And those who walk around blaming him are just ignorant one eyed biased nrl fans that have an agenda against Hayne and use every opportunity they can get to knock him ( directed at Raiders fans walking around posting Dugan>Hayne comments).

Hayne, though ordinary ( but seriously WHAT could he do?) , was one of the better ones in a really really bad NSW team.

30 tackles (1 missed) in 48 minutes of football for Gidley.

what a shocking effort...

3 errors, two which lead to points, and 2 runs for about 12 metres in 48 minutes
your right, it was a f**king woefully embarrassing effort from origin's worst captain of all time

2 errors and 27m off 3 runs.

wont get any arguments from me that he's the worst origin captain of all time. he's been nowhere near the worst on the field for us since his debut, though.

I bet they didnt include his f**king hideous ball to Weyman in the errors either
Anyways, hes absolutely hopeless and is way out of his depth as SOO level.
We can debate weather there were worse players on the field each of his games but what cant be debated is the fact he has no right playing football at this level, as he's simply not good enough.

And can i just say a big  at the dumb sh*t roosters fans who still bag Dave Shillington... deadset one of the premier front rowers in the game today, dominated the blues pack. 2nd best on park behind Lockyer

 the pillow indeed

According to those stats, Beau Scott did not offload the ball once.

WTF is an offload? Isn't it passing/popping the ball after the opposition have gotten hold of you?

If so, the stats are flawed.

that's fair enough, and i do agree with you. i just don't agree with the absolute merciless slandering and exaggeration of how bad he is. there are features of his game that he doesn't get credit for. i suppose it's out nature to focus on the bad around here... but there is a considerable lack of credit in areas it is due.

the knights still can't work out what to do with him... he brings heaps to our team at club level, but it's so hard to get the good without the bad creeping in.
