still amazed how Hodgess was awarded that try, even WallyLewis said it was no try and he'd be pissed if NSW got awarded a try like that

there's the game and series right there

We suggested that we run the play in the U11s this week, but it would get pulled up every time in the junior league, how that plonker Clark let it go shows how useless they are.

Can confidently say it would not be a try in junior league, and probably owhere except Suncorp

Yeah I don't get that decision. Hodges impeded the defender. Whilst the shepherd was not the reason why Hodges scored the try, it was still a instant penalty in any RL game.

Was ridiculous that he was allowed to crab across the field 5m off the NSW line, by the books it was a shepard but NSW let him run.

It makes you so angry sometimes supporting a team that allows these class players to drift across the line, giving them all the time in the world to wait for a half opportunity.

This is the best description of the halves from last night, just had to repeat it

"Pearce has the creativity of a possum staring at a Mack truck on the F3 at 2 am"

We need to find some halves quick smart, that was the difference again, we outplayed them in the 3/4 line and up front , but nothing from the halves apart from the conversion from the sideline, Did they even run at the line, woeful ( not forgetting Farah's play the ball at the death, aarrgghh)

I think pearce is lucky that stuart has a love affair with him. I also think peter wallace is our best option when fit.

I think Wallace is the better option too. Trouble could be his Broncos teammates might be able to read his plays well when opposing him in origin? I think Pearce has had his turns and it's time for someone else to get a decent go.

that cuts both ways though, he might be able to read their plays too

If hayne was fullback the lack of creativity in the halves would not be so much of an issue - Stuart will never learn

If Hayne had the desire to play in the halves he'd be playing in the halves for NSW for along time to come. Either that or we convert another Kiwi named Benji Marshall.

The one thing out of the game that affects the Eels ( apart from the Hayne injury) is that Sticky will not add much to our club. Lack of anything but passion, and his use of the bench is on par with SK.

Surely if we are to approach someone for 2013, I can't think he would be an improvement, would love BS back but that won t happen,

Joe Grima back to cooach NYC and do some recruiting would be my first step, the players coming through at the Sharkies were a result of his time there, and a change at the top, someone who has media skills and can attract players.

Who is there, Nathan Brown, Mick Potter would be available, even Rick Stone , so what do we do from here ?

I have been saying that for a while. WOuld rather the dud kearney in charge than stuart.

NAthan brown or Jason taylor would be my choices.

In regards to the bench there was a big change for qld when grant & Tamou went off. Thats when qld props just kept rolling forward & our forwards got rolled. Again stuart at his best

And that was a problem in game I and II, instead of rectifying the problem he drops our other front rower and picks a bench full of wide running back rowers

Leaving Lewis on the bench for so long after he was awesome in game II also showed what a complete f**k nuckle he is, he brings a heap of passion and not much else.

I agree Delboy and have been saying the same thing. He would just prove to be a more expensive version of pretty much what we have now.

Anderson at least brings much needed experience, Pricey some much needed passion (even if his inclusion is a political appointment) and I hear there is another assistant on the way to replace Cameron. I hope between these three we see some improvement because if things don't get better there are no highly successful coaches available.
Anyone else currently available including JT is a long shot at making us premiership contenders and that's what we should be aiming for in the long run IMO.
