They were expected to win at least 10 gold medals, have a look a Mackavoys swim??? If it wasn't for the young 18 yr old's amazing swim it would of been another failure and gold medal chance missed. We may get a couple more gold and it will be much better than London but we were ranked 2 in the world and excepted to clean up.

I stand by what i said, we come into these games ranked second and were favoured to win 10 gold medals. We have 3 ATM, with good chances in maybe 2 or 3 more events.

Kyrie Irving's dad played in australia, hence he was here for a while ... i remember there were questions about him maybe playing for australia when he was ciming out of college

Similar story to Ben Simmons only Simmons grew up here until he was college age ... shame we couldnt get him to play for us in these olympics but he needs to look after his nba career ... i saw him interviewed after he was #1 pick and some dude asked if he was interested in playing in the olympics for team usa ... his answer, nah i'm an aussie mate
