Well its maybe not the greatest game but it is a conference game in a group where know one looks the goods.
Beeing early in the season means both teams will have something too play for and you get too see maybe the best player in the NFL- J.J. Watts.
Also have a hotdog at the game-Would be fun.

you kidding? it is a huge game, both are big rivals and jets are loaded this year with talent.

I worked out that I'm in New York and can see Patriots Vs NY Jets at Metlife stadium on 28 Dec 2015.

Silly me was thinking that they'd have a roofed stadium.

Do they really play NFL in the snow ?

I wouldn't miss it if I had the chance.

NFL has a great ticket exchange programme. Only place I'd buy tickets from.

Merkins,

1. Can anyone pass the ball in NFL or is it only limited to the QB ?
2. Why do some players throw themselves at the legs of a ball carrier, rather than use their arms to tackle ? I have seen a few touch downs this weekend that could have been avoided if only the merkin used their arms to wrap him up.
3. Why do they wear mouth guards when they already have a cage on their face ?

1) Theoretically, anyone can pass the ball (forward), but the circumstances under which they can do so are limited. There can only be one forward pass on any play, and that pass must be thrown from behind the line of scrimmage. You can throw as many lateral passes on a play as you like, and you can throw them beyond the line of scrimmage. The QB, in fact, was not initially the main passer in the years immediately after they first allowed the forward pass. Every now and then you'll see the a fake play that develops like a run, but the HB fades right and passes downfield. Teams also fake punt, and let the punter throw down field

2) Because you only have knock the runner over to complete a tackle. They don't need to be touched while on the ground as is the case in league.

3) Coz helmets get ripped off, and coz the face guard has gaps.

Why do you think any player wears a mouthguard?

Cause they all do?

They use it to protect their jaws and teeth from the impact they receive when tackling (most NFL tacklers tend to lead with the head when hitting players.

Truth:

1. Anyone can pass the ball, but you are only allowed one forward pass per play, and unlimited lateral or backwards passes. NFL players have never developed the vision, awareness or skill to pass the ball in general play. One of the reasons this might be is they are so focused on retaining possession. You can have a 4 on 1 situation and they have tunnel vision for the line and will still not pass the ball because they are like programmed robots. It is really just a general lack of skill and awareness.

2. It's simply poor technique. Obviously wrapping up the legs would be more effective in bringing the runner down but some of them seem to think that the best way to knock their opponent down is to dive at their legs like a penguin.

3. General safety eg. iincase their jaw snaps shut during a collision.

SF offensive line is crap. Folds like a deck of cards constantly leaving the qb with no passing time. They are just going to have to play a running game

Bills are flying ....

Colts needed too win and did.Was a good effort from behind.A lot of work to do. Same goes for phili who looked shaky.

Bengals and Arizona are ticking the right boxes early on.
