Hi guys - Really enjoying your discussion on this thread.
Im fairly new to the NFL (about 3 years now), but have been following the Ravens. Only reason was I did an online quiz and the Ravens popped up as my team (also - I really loved the TV show The Wire). For a team that has above average success they dont seem to have many online fans or much discussion?? Just wondering, are they an unpopular team to follow??
Was pretty happy with both results today. Especially that result in Dallas.

I've seen a few Ravens jerseys out and about, but nowhere near the amount you see of other teams (Pats, Niners, Chiefs, Cowboys and for some reason Chargers???). I think their city just isn't high-profile enough, and you'd rarely get Ravens games played on TV over here. Good that you've found a team though, and sticking with them - although it's not a bad time to be a Ravens fan, tbh.
They've never really been an awful team, from my memory. They've had some down years, but nothing like you see other teams have (Chicago, I'm looking at you).
I've been trying to convince a friend of mine to start watching NFL for years, but she's never bothered. All of a sudden she hears Taylor Swift is at the games and she's an overnight Chiefs fan. Typical. Thing is, now that she's chosen her team, she will stick with them no matter what. She's a Wests Tigers fan as well, so I can trust she will stick with her team even when they're shit, haha.
It doesn't matter how you become a fan of a team...it matters that you stick with them even when times are bad.
