40ish sounds about right... It'd be hard to argue A League is top 25?

There's at least four second tier leagues in Europe that have more talent than the A League. The problem with the A League is foreign player limits. Expand those and we'd get more talent immediately. It wouldn't be as good for the development of young Australian talent but it would be better for the league's standard and reputation. And there would still be Aussies playing in it. They could tighten up foreign player quotas later.

It would be like the Eels getting rid of Mannah early, in the off-season.... But no overseas clubs are buying NTS, so it looks like WSW will just end up giving a free kick to another A-League club...
