Expecting the Wanderers to struggle tonight. They just don't have their mojo together yet. We had less points at this stage last season and made the grand final, but I think we have a lesser squad this season, and playing away from Pirtek* where fans are already unhappy (understandably) with the game day experience, it could be a killer for the remainder of the season.
* = Parra Stadium, or even Wanderland please.

Referring to a ground by its sponsoring company makes the sentence seem nonsensical... i.e. "...and playing away from a fluid transfer solutions company where fans are already unhappy (understandably)..."

Actually, in this case the sentence makes perfect sense come to think of it, but that's just a fluke.

I wonder how the fans could be unhappy with the Homebush gameday experience, when according to someone on here, there are more decent seats available at that bigger stadium than at Parra...?

Maybe they're wankers who want to be part of an exclusive group that are better able to exclude others via the magic of a small ground. If that's central to their gameday experience then I can see why they prefer Pirtek Stadium.

Plus the march through the streets of Homebush has a much smaller audience to harass and intimidate.

1 point in Perth is a good result for this year's Wanderers. The worry for Popa is they again failed to convert a significant possession advantage into a goal advantage.

I was the only person in my tipping comp that went for a Mariners' win, so pretty happy with that result.

Ah crap, I thought Wanderers would be good for a draw at least in my tipping, after four weeks of honing their skills at not quite getting a win...

Man, rules must have changed since I played soccer, that sliding tackle the bloke from Victory got penalised for was a corker back in my day. Got nothing but ball.

Replay showed his studs were up and the studs collected him in the shins after he got the ball. Great to see WSW get smashed again though

Andrew Redmayne - inspiring millions of mediocre aspiring athletes around the world to become a professional.

FMD - he is awful.

He seems to do some good things, then mess up some real simple stuff.

Like the first goal from Victory, he made a good save from the first shot, then there wasn't much he could do after that with a bloke left wide open.
