He's been good enough to represent Italy at junior international level.

Obviously, the senior Italian men's side is a different story - but Volpato is only 22 years old.

The way things are going, if he wants to play senior football at a World Cup, he's better off playing for Australia, anyway...

I hate that this crap has crept into the game.

As a former goalkeeper myself, a penalty gives the striker all the advantages - it's so hard to save a penalty as a goalie.

Then you've got players doing stuttering runs, and all this other nonsense....not a fan.
