I think Wisden's is going to create a new category in their "cricket bible". It will be called "Moral Victories" and will be fully made up of England's losses where they were the clearly the best team and should have won but didn't due to circumstances beyond their control such as playing sides that played better than them, and washed out test matches.
Just stop whinging ya duds!

Will this guy ever give up. Just accept what has happened as the results won't change.

MORGAN TAKES FRESH SWIPE AT ‘CONVICT’ AUSSIES

Controversial British TV host Piers Morgan still hasn’t gotten over England and Australia drawing the fourth Test at Old Trafford.

England looked in the ascendancy in Manchester and likely would’ve levelled the series 2-2 heading to the final Test at the Oval this week until rain washed out the final day.

Speaking on the Vaughany and Tuffers Cricket Club podcast, Morgan lamented the loss of what he believes would’ve been “the greatest comeback in cricket history internationally and the greatest series there’s ever been.

“We should have won at Lord’s, we should have won every Test, let’s be honest. We’re a better team, I don’t think there’s any doubt about that. We were dudded by the rain, and I think at the Oval we’re going to flatten them. We need to.

“I don’t want to lose 3-1 — to lose 3-1 to this Australian team of cheating convicts would be extremely annoying.”

I take umbrage with what he called the players in our team.

Please, please let us win the last test at The Oval. It would be great if we won in controversial circumstances - that would really f..k this guy up.

What an A-hole this Piers Morgan is . The doity sod is more than likely descended from pure convict stock himself , before some of his more recent forebears returned to pommy land .

The Australian side were more than worthy winners in the first 2 tests , England the better in the third. Yes England were the better team in the 4 th , but rain played its part and the match was drawn .

Not the first occasion the weather has had a bearing upon a the result and most certainly not the last .

P. Morgan, the captain of ‘Drosses’,
The toss was 4 wins, not losses!
Piers should be rapt,
as it is very apt.
For a country so full of big tossers.

A pity as to how the last test ended. I'm shitty with what happened with the replacement ball. The initial ball was 37 overs old and virtually had no visible writing on it but after it hit Usman's helmet, there was a scuff mde on the old ball and the Poms complained and the umpires decided to replace it. The "new" ball was shiny and the writing was clearly on both sides and did not look like a like for like replacement and Usman said that it felt like a new ball to hit and looked too new. He queried the umpires and one of them said that "there was nothing else in the box". What a load of crap https://www.foxsports.com.au/ - see the video.

This to me was the turning point of the match.

M L the so called best bat in the world has scored only 2 centuries out of Australia (1 in this series) and fails when other teams take the chances he gives.

Our tail did wag twice but not enough to hide the issues of our fragile top 6.

Warner got his swansong tour and the team suffered for that.

Our team employed stupid tactics and stupid field placements the likes of which have never been seen before and fielding in general was sub par.

We are an ageing side with no youth putting its hand up to take spots in the team and make that spot ”their own” and of course M M being the go to guy.

It was a totally unbelievable moment which took the game away from the Aussies.
100% blacksafake. I was feeling bloody confident that we had a good chance of getting the runs when we were none for 120+. Unfortunately the ball hitting Usman's helmet meant that the ball needed to be replaced with a similar ball as the skin on the old ball was "slightly" scraped - a pity but the blatant changeover with a "better" ball made a hell of a difference to the outcome, the bastards.

The Poms having the last laugh on us. They knew that they were given a lifeline when someone "snuck" in that newer ball in the case of balls and even their opening batsman Crawley had a laugh. What the hell. How could that happen. I still can't get over it though I must otherwise I will be perceived as being anal.

The rain was a nice touch too but we weren't allowed to enjoy an advantage only the poms were. Go figure

Even coach McCullum said on radio that they got lucky with the ball swap.
