Don't worry, I'm sure that have an "I'd rather not say" option...And yes I agree Gronk I don't understand how census works. And I don't see why they want to know if I am a homosexual or not.

Not relevant to you.It just isn't relevant how many homosexuals live in my suburb.
Not relevant to you.
But potentially relevant to future planning and targeting of services and information campaigns etc - as has been previously pointed out in this thread.
Well, everybody doesn't know that - or whether it's true - until they ask the question in the census.Everyone knows in Sydney that majority of the Lgbtq+ live around inner west and Darlinghurst. The rest are just sprinkled here and there.

Wherever they wanted to...?Where would of you assumed they live prior to this census?
Wherever they wanted to...?
I think it's never been illegal for "the gays" to own property, continue to live with their family, or rent property in any particular suburbs - except maybe the Shire and Hills District bible belts...
Oxford Street is not what it used to be in the 90s. I know and have met plenty of suburban LGBTQ folk. None of this is relevant to your opposition to the question being available for people to answer if they choose in the census.
It simply provides hard evidence data, rather than anecdotal opinion. Nothing to get you Sky After Dark/Daily Mail/2GB knickers in a knot about. And once they confirm the inner west is the most concentrated how will it change things here? As I said I live here. Nobody here cares what you are or do.
It goes like the clappers. Hold on for your life!!Anyone been on the new metro?
It's good and it's fast but it's a bumpy ride. Feels like a Luna park ride. Is this normal around the world ?
I've also heard they didn't plan for enough parking in the Hills area metro stations and people are parking and walking 1- 2km.
Anyhows I'm glad I have 2 x train stations within 6 mins walk to me. Sounds like a debacle.
I had some Oasis soup today.
It's called Oasis soup because you got a roll with it.
He’s off his meds again. Why did you post it in the polticis thread?
Says Sky After Dark and Murdoch press, every night when the LNP aren't in power...We need to worry about our own nation. A few on here seem obsessed with USA.
Source?Have the highest drop in disposable income in the world
Source? We have a huge gap evolving between rich and poor and we seem to also be wiping out the middle class in the process.
Discuss jumping at shadows and Dutton's dubious deflections... I wonder why not?Yet nobody seems to want to discuss this.
