When deciding how left/right you are, support for policy is a good enough proxy.
Why?
Is not the basis of the decision more determinate?

The basis of the decision is likely to be less conscious than the decision itself. Just as it's easier to judge others by their actions than anything less concrete, so it often goes with judging ourselves. Why?

@IFR33K's favourite. It was the Sydney Morning Damn Herald

I don't care, Centrists are self appointed, everyone seems to believe they represent the centre, because everyone they know is either to their left or right somewhere.
I agree people are more likely to think their political views are in the centre but I understood they're more likely to over- or under-rate themselves in pretty much everything else. Why is just a more difficult question than what, I would suggest if you don't ask why then you're really in no position to label yourself left , right , centre, with any real degree of confidence.
Besides which people tend to believe they are closer to average than they are over any number of measures, politics being no different.
Be careful. You might get labelled as a fence sitter.I try to randomise my positions on most issues. No f**kers are going to play me.

Pearl jam will be happy. I recall they were having trouble locating a beta man.
That's the line of thought that got us done in Newcastle this year. Alpha will own your arse before you make retirement age. It's coming and you can't do shit about it.I'll just champ them all mate. Establish dominance. She'll be right, champ
O'Neill has been through a few jobs in his time.Don't be stupid mate.
That song was written while waiting for some assistance at Betta Electrical
I have. I've also shopped at Col Buchan Discounts, Joyce Mayne and Sydney Wide Discounts.I can honestly say that I have never shopped at a Betta electrical. I'm also fairly confident that I don't know anyone who has.
