My bigger issue with Trump is what appears to be a tendency to react first and then think later. I'm not close enough to know whether there is a long term strategy with Iran, but I have my doubts.

There is a precedent for the successful and legitimate removal of ruthless dictators. However, this just seems like Trump waving his mushroom dick around.

My opinion is that he touts himself as the greatest deal maker ever. Based on that premise, he dismantles free trade agreements etc and reassembles them his way. The China thing has been reactionary and has cost the world with his random f**kery. There are no indications that his country are better off, indeed most would argue that farmers and manufacturers are worse off.

Yep the rust belt are rustier than ever and the blue states shoutier than ever. Maybe the whingers can get off their arses and actually vote this year. A voter turn out of only 61% is poor IMHO (however it is historically bang on average). 72% of Brits voted in their (also non-compulsory) Brexit vote.

FMD we had 79% participate in the optional non-binding SSM survey.

How these merkins champion democracy yet fail to vote is beyond me.

He's up there with the worst examples on that account but he is hardly on his own.
