Dunno, I reckon that NSW have been lucky that we have not needed to go into lockdown because of border breaches. Vic has breaches from hotel quarantine and an imported SA hotel quarantine.

In the end, regardless of who is doing what, our national borders, repatriating Australian citizens, and therefore quarantine is a federal government responsibility.

Regardless of the fact that the feds have abrogated that responsibility to the states, it's clear and undeniable that it is their responsibility.

So if Joshy or Scotty or any of their mates wanna stand up in parliament and criticize any of the states handling of quarantine, they would do well to remember that it is within their power to take it over and run it themselves, and indeed the states are only "allowed" to run it at the federal governments discretion.
