The fact Russia can't even deal with Ukraine makes me wonder what China would be thinking. Have they even been in a war?
Lot of people think they would take us over no sweat. I don't think it would be that easy tbh.

No not easy at all.

We would call in Uncle Sam and the strength of the relationship is such that they wouldn’t hesitate to go very close to nuclear to help us out.

That the US is in a long term decline politically and socially is a bit of a worry. Caught up in political extremism and the growth of unequal wealth distribution pulling it under. The unnerving decline of the American middle class and the rise of international competition under oligarchic fascism. A new Cold War.

Our era in world history, sit back and enjoy.

The Chinese have been in more wars than you can poke a stick at.

Amazing stuff, attacked like this in parliament... by his own side.

The LNP is a shambles in free fall - name the date Scotty and #votethemout

The Right Honourable Senator was only too happy to take the perks and junkets when she had the support, now complains when she’s shafted. Entitled cow.

Scomo could have avoided this by offering her a golden handshake and a well paid role on a dinky Tribunal or overseas posting.

Liberal Senators are the last office holders in Australian Political life people cry for.

Give her a tissue and she can take up a pew at Hillsong.

Not crying for her - just amazed at the complete lack of discipline in the LNP to allow such public disunity to be aired in the houses of parliament... total disintegration, 61 days and counting.

Yes, I thought so.

I agree with you entirely it’s a bad look.

But by way of public criticisms, it’s very ordinary.

If I was Scomo, I’d have several rounds of meetings with Mass Media proprietors behind closed doors and promise them stuff. A big fat social media tax next budget if elected. But the price is war on Albo.

Make up some dirt on the Senator and say she was under a secret investigation for something sleazy or corrupt. They found something they may need to report to the afp and it would be unfair on her if they released it. That would be a nice touch.

Maybe suspicions of an affair or a complaint by a junior. Just leak different crap and see what runs.

Make up something from her past like a suspected branch stacking with deceased people on her books. Using her Parliamentary allowance on holidays and cat grooming. Breaking the co vid rules to buy a lobster to feed her beloved Truffle Wuffle her pet labradoodle.

Attack is your best form defence with this kind of thing.

And also criticising Scomo for the obvious Hillsong connections... before he tried to side step it all when the mud on hillsong started to stick. Looks like Scomo has f**ked up big time, and some in his own Liberal party side won't let him forget it.

Not gunna lie that punting extreme churchies Kevin Andrews and Conchita Alphabet-Wells does not make me happy. However the poor lady who had a heart attack from the labor party copped the same treatment in the pre-selection process. Will we hear some balance @strider ?

I just heard a pundit on the radio expressing concerns about the size of Frydenberg's up front stimulus! I missed the beginning, can someone provide some context?

He has a big stimulus......

My little birds have told me to pay for all this money Liberal has spent they will be bringing in a tax on inheritance. I don't think it's a terrible idea if only around 5-10%.
