What a positive statement about our indigenous brothers and sisters Pauline makes. Pity Pauline is a terrible public speaker.

And what about that idiot that gets up and bags her as an attacker of Aboriginals. The upside down evil Marxist/Globalist world.

Oh and check out this little exposé.

And some people here want to vote Yes? Lunatics and parasites that will eat away at our great nation.

Dude as we edge close to the referendum, people will be sharing their views. Please be self aware that not everyone will agree with the next forumite and we are better than name calling.

I had a feeling you would say that or Rocky Road. So McDonald's dumbed down poisoned pallet fair.

Both, crap bits in your teeth, American trash.

Rum and raisin, with a squirt of chocolate to give a note of decadence and panache, a manly man culinary classic.

You don't think raisins gets stuck in your teeth?
You enjoy your shit. I'll enjoy mine.

Also, Rocky Road is f**ken disgusting.

Yes terrible Prime Minister like all of them, but he is spot on about this one.
Yeah not sure that Howard (who could not bring himself to say sorry) or Dutton (who walked out on the National Apology) or Pauline Hanson (there literally have been research papers witten about her racism) are claiming that THEY know whats best for the indigenous population as a spin on why NO is best, you gotta ask why.

Let’s be frank - they don’t give a rats. What’s important to them is that they have a win against their political foes. All the rest is window dressing. Smokes and mirrors. That’s my opinion anyway.

I honestly do not know what people who are planning to vote No are afraid of?

The ruination of our nation even faster than the globalist other plans will do.

Wake up. It isn't that hard to look around and see what is happening and coming.

Are you that brainwashed? Aren't you of Asian background, Chinese?

If so look back at the history of your ancestors homeland and see the parallels that many new Chinese to Australia have noticed and warned about.

Everything that any politician from either party proposes at this stage is weasel stuff that rarely ever benefit us the people and only further benefit the 1%. We need to take our country back, not give them even more power to destroy our sovereignty right from under our feet.

Wake up!

Totally wrong and you're full of left loony crap again. No one can take your opinion as anything other then Marxist supporting dribble. To you and your mates everyone that isn't on board with lefty insanity garbage is a racist and only lefties know what's best for everyone as long as they themselves don't have to comply under the same rules.

Stop embarrassing yourself. You have shown how deranged you are.

Calm down.

"Our country"?
What? The same country that we annexed 200 years ago that was occupied for how many thousands of years by the original inhabitants? Yep, sure, it's "our" country now, eh?

"Not give them more power to destroy our sovereignty"?
Wtf? Lol.

"We need to take our country back".
I cannot believe that people still think like this. Yet they do. It's quite sad tbh.

Vote how you will. But don't be afraid of losing sovereignty or any other right's you think deserve. There's alway's the Dutton's and Abbott's that will keep you safe.

Slippery slope argument. Same as Mabo, same as Same Sex Marriage.

Right, so apart from yelling and being rude, you said nothing and offered zero plausible reasons to vote no.

There seems to be a lot of baseless crystal ball gazing and mark my words you'll be sorry statements with zero historical examples. Just throw away political tropes used by YouTubers and dodgy websites.

If you want to change the constitution, fine, but it should lock in exactly what the voice looks like, how it’s elected, who it represents and how it operates from day 1 to in 100 years time. There should be grey whatsoever

This issue aside, that is just not how the constitution works, it sets out general principles and powers, without too many specifics. This is by design, the reasoning for which is that allows for change over time, because it is written to last centuries.

If it wasn't written in such a manner, it would become unworkable over time and require constant revision and amendment.

On this issue it is fit and proper for it to simply establish the body, and its powers, the parliament to then legislate the model, and reform it over time as the parliament sees fit. If your demand here was met, we'd be stuck with whatever model was created and would inevitably have to have further referendum in order to reform it as and when it is required.

As @bazza pointed out, the constitution doesn't even do this in regards to how parliament itself is elected and run, it only sets out principles and importantly its powers. "The Detail" is delivered by the parliament of the day, just as it is with every aspect of every other legislation. That is what parliament is for. That is how our democracy works, like it or not.

Most people don't even know what they are voting for. They'll go in and tick a box. If they feel like things are going ok in life they will tick NO.
It isn't as clear cut as say Gay marriage.

I don't know if it's "most people" but in general I agree that many either don't know, or what they think they know is misinformed.

There are plenty of examples out there to back that up, and the no camp with their call "if you don't know, vote no" clearly believe that to be the case.

Where I'd disagree with you there is that I would think that people are more likely to vote yes if life is good, and no if they have issues. Obviously there will be exceptions, but I think it no coincidence that the yes vote has tanked in the polls as cost of living pressures have come more and more to the fore.

In general I think people are going to be more generous to others about such things if life's good, and less so when they themselves are struggling. That's my experience anyways.
