It will just give more power to the Corps and Governments of the day that will then be able to bribe and maneuver their way into gaining access to land and or resource contracts for pittance that wouldn't have been possible to do so under normal circumstances, or close down access to large deposits and or land when needed to cause scarcity.

The will have greater leverage to do as they see fit. Turn on the spigot or turn off the spigot and Governments will claim they have no power or say in the matter so they will play Pontius Pilate with clean hands to the people.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg.
They already can (and have) done everything you’ve suggested.

Some truth to this. Have seen first hand how difficult it can be to make sure the support is distributed in the right way.
And isn’t that the most important problem in all of this?? Having a voice means zero if the money and help continues to not go when it’s intended or needed. Those people out there in the remote communities that have no access to basic amenities what really changed for them?? As long as some wealthy white people feel a little a better about themselves that’s the main thing I suppose.

Voting yes doesn’t make you an inclusive, loving, empathetic and kind person

Voting no doesn’t make you a racist, inconsiderate or stone hearted asshole.

anyone who tries to tell you as such is the problem in this whole situation and is why this has caused a national divide that was avoidable and unnecessary.

Also if anyone is interested in the global food crisis that is about to hit us all in the next few years, then this is a great way to understand where it came from and the policies that have brought it to us. All these modern day scarcity problems are man made policy driven nonsense that they themselves have created under the banner of climate change and the pandemic.

It is a little hard to understand Michael Walsh due to the connection and that he is Irish, but doable. By the way, conventional farming is a racket and should be changed, but not eradicated and shutdown with no alternative other then scarcity and starvation. I have posted on here before that 'no till farming' with multi species crops and proper animal grazing husbandry is the way to go(permaculture). If done properly there is no need to truck in tons of nitrogen fertilizers from Canada or anywhere for that matter. Nature doesn't use trucks or boats to get its nitrogen. It makes it itself for free. Look it up, the solutions are all around us. But Gates and mates just want you to eat bugs and immortal cancer cell artificial meat.

But hey I'm the kook and the bad guy.

Thanks for those 70+ words, but you didn't really say anything or explain yourself.

I said what any smart man would.

You're an idiot that likes to post gifs. Enough said strawboy.

Now go stand in a barren field somewhere like the scarecrow you are and peddle your sh*t to the birds that love pooping on you.

I don't think the majority of us here are buying it.

Fist pump to the sky baby! Winning!

There does seem to be a problem with cash finding it's way to the grass roots, however what you are seeking are guarantees and if not then it's a NO ? That's what I don't understand with the "it won't change anything so it's a NO." It can change things if the government is prepared to listen.

Ignoring the noise of the politics, doesn't this carry weight ?

I haven’t said which way im going but look how aggressive you are getting lol Trying and make me feel like I’m a bad person for maybe even contemplating no. Hardly winning anyone over Gronky with the way you are going about it. Just like the government and Albo are doing a poor job of it and that’s the reason why it will fail.

Why is it important to you if really it will have no impact on you?

I can understand why people would be ambivalent and agnostic about something that doesn't really impact them, but I don't understand why it is that important to them.
Wasn't this the same premise for Same Sex Marriage ?

To true, but it will only be much worse.

Greedy evil doesn't just say, OK I have had enough, I will just go away now.

Greedy evil always wants more and jealously guards its ill gotten gains to the point of knowing it needs to silence and or kill ALL its opposition if it wants to remain in power and unchallenged.

Guess what, we are all greedy evils opposition.

Greedy evil never sleeps.

So yeah, what we are currently doing isn't really working it's arse off for the folks who need it most. So let's just keep on doing the same thing?

I mean that's the crux of it, either we change shit or we don't, changing shit might just end up more of the same, that'd suck for them, but sure as shit keeping on doing the same shit aint gonna change a damn thing.

And that's what I don't get with the whole "we're already wasting billions" type argument as an argument for the status quo, the status quo is clearly broken, we continue with it, we'll continue wasting those same billions.

Now The Voice may or may not be the change needed, I think that's reasonably debatable, but there's no argument that change isn't needed.

I don’t think anyone is saying something different needs to be done, how long have we been just throwing money at the problem and if anything it’s gotten worse.

But you see some people spouting in the media and people who I interact with and they seem to think it’s some silver bullet that’s going to fix everything and that’s just laughable and shows how clueless a lot of people are.

Yeah, there's no silver bullet, least not just one, because the issues are many and varied, problem is to date we've been mostly shooting blanks.

This is true, but in my opinion it's not a good argument for voting no.
