The majority are middle class merkin, wtf look!

Can you count?

Okay let's talk about who can count...........

How how many of those do you think are in poverty?

Answer:

About 30 per cent of Indigenous households are in income poverty, which indicates that over 120,000 Indigenous people are living below the poverty line.

Do you know the difference between a "household" and an "individual" because here you've used households to determine the number of individuals without a multiplier to account for the difference, very sloppy work mate.

Pretty simple maths people.

Well first you have to understand the inputs, which as per above you clearly don't, then you'd have to understand the answer and how that relates to your claim, which again, you clearly don't.

By which I mean that as pointed out by @Soren Lorenson, not living below the the poverty line is not how anyone with any f**king idea would define "middle class".

I'll make it real simple for you to understand how wrong you are on this, one simple stat is all that is needed.

The median income for aboriginal and Torres straight Islander peoples as per the 2021 census is $540.00 per week.

Now, as we know, the median is the point where half are above, half are below, so unless you want to claim that some value below $540.00 / week is "Middle class", then that one stat informs you that it is literally impossible for your claim that "most are middle class like us" to be true, because "most" at the very least is half + 1

To add more context, from the same source the median household income for ATSI peoples is $825.00 / week. The difference between that and the median individual income above demonstrates your failure to understand the meaning of the very stat you posted, along with the claim of "it's simple maths" displays how completely out of your depth you are here.

Now to the "like us" part of your claim, as @Gary Gutful quite patiently encouraged you to investigate, when making such a claim, a comparison is needed to substantiate it.

The median personal income in Australia for all Australians as per the 2021 census is $805.00 per week.

https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/l...ditions/income-and-work-census/latest-release

The median Household income as per the same source is $1746.00

As you can see, those numbers are vastly different.

And your claim there is objectively wrong.

FFS @TheRam thats sloppier than a soup sandwich. You’ve been analed in the anus.

I did get something wrong there, I took it from his post claiming it's simple maths that he'd actually done the maths but f**ked up, but looking again it was so outta wack that it couldn't possibly be that he'd f**ked it up that badly..

So the whole quote is.........

In Australia, 812,000 people identified as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander in the 2021 Census of Population and Housing. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people represented 3.2% of the population.

How how many of those do you think are in poverty?

Answer:

About 30 per cent of Indigenous households are in income poverty, which indicates that over 120,000 Indigenous people are living below the poverty line.

How many aboriginals are in Australia are in poverty - Google Search
Pretty simple maths people.

The numbers are, 812k people, 30% of households, 120,000 in poverty, no matter how you look at that, it just can't work.

Turns out it's even sloppier than the sloppiest of soup sandwiches, his link to his google search gives it away, he's just copy pasted the answer from the text in the first result of the google search, and then implied he'd done the maths.

Problem is he didn't bother to look at the actual source that the google search quoted, which is this...

....which is from March 2004, so he's using a 20 year old number as the answer to how many of those 812k currently live in poverty.

Oh, and as an side, the copy paste he posted was ..........

About 30 per cent of Indigenous households are in income poverty, which indicates that over 120,000 Indigenous people are living below the poverty line.

........yet the complete text from the google search was..........

Most indicators of poverty and related disadvantage show that Indigenous people are between two and three times worse off than non-Indigenous people in Australia. About 30 per cent of Indigenous households are in income poverty, which indicates that over 120,000 Indigenous people are living below the poverty line.

But hey, "most are like us"

What about these little facts on this other little topic that you guys hate so much.

Oh sure attack the messenger but don't address the points that they bring to light.

So I watched the first 2 minutes of this nonsense , and having skimmed over the report to which they refer, at least in regards to the claims being made about what the report looked at and ignored, I came to the conclusion that either none of them have read the report, or they are simply lying about what the report does and does not contain.

Here's the link to the report if you'd rather not simply take these idiots word for what is in it.

I’m at Operating Thetan Level 5 tonight.

And Sam Newman delivers a couple of thousand vote to the Voice campaign.

Not a single boo.

Victoria is full of wokeys, definitely a yes state.

Let’s give it a whirl Bandy:

How do you define the terms “objective”and “subjective” ?

What makes them different?

This post is silly - subjective

This post contains a question - objective.

This post contains a silly question - subjective

This post contains a question, which has been labelled silly - objective.

Actually this post contains two questions, objective or subjective?

I don’t know maybe it’s just me, but there must be several unemployed merkins on here. Nobody in a paid job could spend so much time posting during the day and still justify their productivity to their employer.

it helps if you are the employer
