Social media or at least our social media is very USA centric. Over there they don't say peep about Israel or if you do, you're an antisemite.

The ethnic cleansing and military rule has been described by the UN as apartheid. As the Palestinian guy said in the CNN video ^^^ said, the USA send $$$$$$ every year to Israel to maintain their illegal occupation, yet the same is happening in Ukraine and there seems to backing for Russia in many parts of US.

I don't believe that at all anyone can post on social media.

Doesn't answer why there aren't more protests/march like there is today.if it's a big enough issue to kill innocent kids.

I just think that it's hitting the front page now. Where previously murder and bulldozing of buildings, then retaliation is a daily occurrence by one side then the other just become mundane news.

Recently, the PM went to the UN and poked the bear.

That’s still not an excuse for butchering concert goers, taking hostages and all that.

These people are terrorists. They are barely human cowards, they suck.

They need to be captured and face justice.

I am not disagreeing, yet your comments today are in stark contrast to what the Russians are doing in Ukraine.

Instead of condemning Russia, you urged Ukraine to lay down their arms to the aggressors in the name of peace.

So shouldn't Israel do the same thing today ? In the name of peace ?

What about SBWs Tweet endorsing another tweet comparing Ukraine to Palestine..

The Libs will come out of this with a win in politics and that's what matters to them. They drove a wedge, caused a divide and the fall out both internally and internationally will be (in their opinions) forever labor's fault. I see it and I understand politics is a nasty business, but the collateral damage seems to be secondary to them.

As you say, they will have to look themselves in the mirror. This is short term politics and not very brave politics. Yet the long term impacts will be real, as have other recent decisions.

The last time I looked the party not in government under our parliamentary system is the Opposition, not the Collaborators.

If I am interpreting what you have said correctly, you are saying "stiff shit, they should have known".

My answer to that is yes, but history shows there is one side of politics who make brave decisions far more often than the other. If it fails (and it appears it will) well at least they had a crack.

Shouldn't the around 53 percent who indicated they preferred Labor over Liberal not even 18 months ago be sufficient for this to pass? These people followed the supposed ideals of the Labor party over the Liberal Party then, why not now?

Let’s compare the apples with apples for a start.

Secondly, it’s not a sin to have a different position on two distinctly geopolitical events.

Thirdly I did not not condemn the Russians, I just came to the conclusion that the Ukkies can’t beat them.

We can scrape over the ashes next week . Having said that, it's not as simplistic as you say.

Sadly you think that a vote for YES or NO implies that the referendum is all about RED vs BLUE. Well it has become that as a well as a scare campaign. This is where I despise politics and the lies that are proliferated in the community.

I don't think it has become a Team Red v Team Blue case at all. If it had then it would pass easily.

Why are all of these people who preferred the ideals of Labor over LNP less than 18 months, not voting Yes to this?

They wouldn't prefer to have Dutton as PM over Albo, so why do you think they would prefer to listen to Dutton over Albo on this topic? When did apparently around 55% agree with Dutton on this and nothing else??

I can't see why people would follow the LNP just on this. I think you're misguided on why people are voting No if that is your view.

Because the referendum and Voice proposal wasn't ever (and really still isn't) political.

Up to half of the Lib MPs support the Voice - just not the party leadership (Dutton) so many are scared about the impact on their career if they speak out against their leader's No media noise (thanks Murdoch, Gina, Clive and all the usual suspects) and divisiveness (which is where conservatism does it's best/worst work).

Classic scaremongering for a potential political point on their scoreboard, and to hell with the what's actually good for the future of our Country - which I'm pretty sure would be a Yes vote - because there's still no good reason not to....

What makes you so certain that all or the majority of the things the people advocating for the "No" vote are lies?

What makes the people advocating for "Yes" voters right?

Not following sorry. A referendum should be pure and simple a conscience vote.

That vote should be made by people based on legitimate and factual information made a available to them.

Based on the ridiculous Land Rights Claims, inaccuracies about High Court Challenges etc etc etc its become a battle of shouting and intentional divisiveness.

Because notwithstanding being corrected, the same lines are being regurgitated day after day.

I have no problem that this conscience vote takes place on a level playing field. Indeed after all the information is deliberated and some end up with YES and others end up with NO, that's democracy.

However some of the outrageous claims I have heard makes me cringe.
