That’s when I see Waqa Blake in the lineup on team list Tuesday. Thankfully that will be no more.
Indigenous Australians are heard ? Says who ? White people ? The people who campaign for NO ?
First Nations people are twice as likely to die by suicide than us. Their mortality age is significantly below us. The mortality rate of children under age 5 compared to us is mind blowing.

Their education and employment prospects are significantly poorer.

Closing the Gap targets - Closing the Gap - Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet
The 17 socioeconomic Closing the Gap targets aim to improve the following outcome areas: health and wellbeing, education, employment, justice, safety, housing, land and waters, languages and digital inclusion . Health and wellbeing Close the gap in life expectancy within a generation by 2031...healthinfonet.ecu.edu.au
Many would say that they are being ignored.
It may not be death by hand, but if we don't do something about closing the gap and mending their mental health, then you might as well say it is by hand.
If the Serbs in Kosovo had such poor outcomes in life, you would be yelling from the rooftops.
Well apparently so. The Australian people have spoken. We didn't need a referendum to give first nation people mental health support.
Whoah. ‘Us’ ain’t the same people. I belong to a demographic with a very high suicide rate, and I don’t need to be lumped in with the rest of you non-indigenous merkins and losing my sympathy card.First Nations people are twice as likely to die by suicide than us.

Heinlein would be rolling in his grave ffsWell as you know, I’m in favor of giving you vets and people who are actually giving back, extra counts in voting.
No one else is backing me unfortunately.

Don’t worry mate Morgan Harper is on the way!!That’s when I see Waqa Blake in the lineup on team list Tuesday. Thankfully that will be no more.
in 2017 a bunch of people got together to find ways to better the first nations people
I would have rather the government have spent that money on studies how we can better the first nations people...
Firstly by getting the word out their what the issue is. Dig deep not they need better education.
Why don't they have that now what could be done to get better education for first nations people.
Are you in the 90s rock star demographic?Whoah. ‘Us’ ain’t the same people. I belong to a demographic with a very high suicide rate, and I don’t need to be lumped in with the rest of you non-indigenous merkins and losing my sympathy card.

They thought a Voice to Parliament enshrined in the constitution was a good way - but that needed to pass a referendum that the majority voted "no" to
It talks about Australians losing their property while in the same paragraph being unable to resist making a comment about the threat to white Australians. You’re the one crying about wedge politics here. It wasn’t just white Australians who rejected the Voice. It was most of us, united.
you wanted a study into finding out how we can better the first nations peopleYeah that doesn't answer anything I wrote
you wanted a study into finding out how we can better the first nations people
they did that in 2017 and the constitutional amendment was what they though would help
If only the Indigenous had someone as influential who could use her swing vote in the senate to force change. To speak so passionately that people actually listen. Sadly many think she's a nutcase, but she wears her heart on her sleeve and is single minded.Whoah. ‘Us’ ain’t the same people.
