Don’t feel guilty, mate. Most likely you worked hard and used common sense to get where you are now. Enjoy the fruits of your decisions and working ethics.
If @hindy111 is wealthy and generous, that passes muster for me and I’m strict about this. I had friends turn into greedy cretins, values gone to the toilet. They get laughed at behind their backs.

Desperately trying to teach the kids to consider others.

They are already in the workforce (by choice) and school and we give them the basics, but the big luxury items like the new phones or fashion stuff, they gotta put in. Lots of love but no free tickets. We want them to be self reliant.

They seem like happy kids.

I’m just waiting for the lad to get home and confess to a indictable offence.

Far better behaved than I was at their age ( so far as I know anyway).

Hindy is a sparky, so if he is good at his game then he should be doing OK for himself, especially if he is smart with his income. Good luck to him if this is the case.

I wouldn't say wealthy but not struggling. At the same time I don't really treat myself to anything outrageous. The odd expensive feed but most the time I'd be happy with a Chinese feed or a pub feed.
I feel a bit silly tbh going to real fancy restruants. It isn't my roots

Me too, but it’s not.

From what I understand from my late FIL, Kosovo and its mountains, are so f**king fundamental in Serbia’s DNA.

In any event, the analogy stands. Kosovo has been part of Serbia from literally biblical times. Indeed even from what I can see, 6400bc.

Do Serbs deserve recognition in the the Kosovo constitution or is it tokenism? Should Serbs be heard ?
But indigenous Australians are heard. Do we still terrorise our aboriginal people here? Do we desicrate their holy sites like they do in Kosovo? Do we still indiscriminately kill them like what the ethnic Albanians do in Kosovo to the minorty Serbs?

It's not even comparable.

What percentage of people who voted NO would have heard the No vote campaign argument ? I’d say 10%. People didn’t need convincing to vote no.

We should legalise cannabis. I am going to get back into it. I’ve actually already got some but we have a big road trip coming up and I am going to be sensible.

This is how we should fund Aborigines. There are three tiers:

1. Aboriginal communities of special need. These are areas of significant disadvantage where money should be concentrated. Government and police should have special intervention powers. Significant education, medical, psychological, and cultural funding should be provided

2. Outside the areas of special need (above), means test everyone identifying as Aboriginal. People should not get tax breaks and funding over and above the normal population simply because they have Aboriginal heritage ie there should be no reason that an Aboriginal bureaucrat in Canberra on 200K should need any further support. In this band, certain special things over and above what the normal population should be funded (where relevant) - eg certain medical treatments. This system is pretty close to what we have for the wider population

3. Aboriginal Heritage Funding. This would be like a grant system where everyone identifying as Aboriginal has the opportunity to apply. All fields of endeavour would be relevant - arts, culture, sport, ideas, inventions, preservation of language, research etc - anything. This system would be merit based and would largely replace the system we have where there everyone identifying gets something

Mate I was all for it. Smoked a lotnas a teen but then just the odd joint and not a heap. Recently hooked in for 4mths after about 20yrs where only casual had. Really sent me a bit silly. It isn't for everyone. I was getting quite paranoid and my mood swings become out of control.
Not smoked for 9 weeks now.I won't go back. And this was home grown bud. Trust me if it's a good strain and grown properly it will be as strong as most hydros. Issue is in the 7ps THC level would be about 6-8%. 10-12% was a good strain. No most are over 20% and some 25%, THC. They are 3-4x more potent.
Anyhows I was all for legalising it. Now however I am against it completely.

Well, our corporations do.
