Context:

Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer sued Lake last year for defamation for her accusations against him alleging that he intentionally committed fraud in her election which caused her to lose her election for Arizona Governor. She filed a Motion to Dismiss the case, and the motion was just denied by the trial court. The case will now proceed to trial.

Another one bites the dust. Like Kari Lake ^^^^ Rudi Giuliani made up shit about election fraud. In his case he singled out two african american ladies who worked in a ballot counting office, named them specifically, showed CCTV of them allegedly passing USBs between them (when they were actually sharing gum or mentos). Following that, MAGA merkins harassed them, went to their houses, sent death threats, you name it for months and made their lives a living hell.

The judge after hearing the evidence in the defamation trial basically said to the jury that this was not a matter of if they were defamed, but how much they get. The jury awarded them $140m+ a day or two ago

Rudi is also being sued by the Dominion voting machine company and others. I think he owes lawyers millions in unpaid legal fees.

He is filing for bankruptcy, but that does not help him dismiss these judgment debts as they will lay outside his bankruptcy and will stay with him for life.

The takeaway from this is exactly what Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen said; Trump has a unique ability of commanding loyalty from his staff and it’s always his staff that pays the price. Trump however is teflon.

You realise Colorado is being appealed and so he has actually been re-instated until the appeal is heard.

Everything i have read says there isnt a snowballs chance it wont get overturned.
The reason given is insurrection, yet no one has ever been charged with insurection. They even claimed its not the legal definition of insurection, but instead the dictionary definition - lol, Its the vibe.

Its funny how they all say trump will destroy democracy, yet the same people are falling over themselves to prosecute a political opponent, hence they are the ones f**king with a democratic process.
