You're a lefty globalist moron that backs everything that is toxic to humanity. Why would I be surprised that you have taken this disingenuous stance? Standard crap that comes from all you lefty morons really.

Like I have said on previous occasions, I don't post stuff for you idiots. I post stuff for people who genuinely have an open mind or are already open to the fact that the powers that be are not our friends.

So I will disengage from further discussion on this matter with you. You are lost to the greedy evil system and only serve it. Pointless engaging with people like you. Buy.

I had to have a quiet laugh on my walk today Ram. I live in the heart of lefty woke environmentalists world. But most seemed to turn a blind eye for Halloween as they pollute their front yards with plastic decorations for some entertainment. All that will end up in the bins/ocean.
As much as I wanted to participate in the halloween fun I care to much about the ocean and marine life so I decided not to get involved. Also why I refuse to fly overseas. I'm keeping my carbon footprint low as possible.

because you keep inviting them

They generally find their own way here.

We don’t do really do politics and light entertainment on WT Forum.

I haven’t done a survey, but we are decidedly more right wing than you guys.

We love our footy and our Mary Celeste of a club never fails to give us talking points.

Ram doesn’t believe in the climate hoax.

So very true about the plastic Hindy, it is a real issue especially in the sea, but don't worry about your carbon foot print mate that is just a Globalist lie to allow them to bring in whatever laws and regulations they like to supress us all and make it all seem justifiable.

The world needs more Co2 not less. Carbon is the food of plants and they create oxygen which sustains almost all other life. It would be like saying the world needs less oxygen. What would happen to all non plant life then? At the moment there is around 21% oxygen and it only needs to drop 2% to start to cause problems for humans which puts us in a oxygen deficient state and Hypoxia can result from there. Also the amount of Co2 at the moment is around 417 ppm well in the good range for both plants and other life. Also during the dinosaurs Co2 was around 6000 ppm. So we have a ways to go before we need to worry.

I would rather we focus our concerns on our fishing practices and our industrial farming practices. That would solve a hell of a lot of problems if we did that including Co2 levels.

So don't let Co2 stop you from seeing the world Hindy. That's what the globalist want you to do.

You are right and wrong.

The greenhouse effect is a natural process crucial for life on Earth. When the sun's energy reaches the Earth's atmosphere, some of it is reflected back to space and the rest is absorbed and re-radiated by greenhouse gases. These gases (like carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor, etc.) trap heat in the atmosphere, which warms the planet, creating the conditions necessary to sustain life. So this bit is very right. What you are wrong about is that we need more of it.

Human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes, have significantly increased the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This amplifies the natural greenhouse effect, leading to global warming and climate change. This has resulted in various detrimental impacts such as rising temperatures, melting ice caps, extreme weather events, sea-level rise, disruptions to ecosystems, and more.

Reversing the effects of climate change requires an attack from all angles and concerted bipartisan global efforts (which seems to be the obvious problem ATM yeah ?):

From CSIRO -->
  1. Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Transitioning to renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and implementing policies that cap emissions.
  2. Reforestation and Afforestation: Planting trees and restoring forests can absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, aiding in reducing the concentration of greenhouse gases.
  3. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS): This technology captures carbon dioxide emissions from sources like power plants and industries, preventing them from entering the atmosphere, and stores them underground.
  4. Transitioning to Sustainable Practices: Encouraging sustainable agriculture, reducing waste, promoting public transportation, and adopting eco-friendly practices in industries are vital in mitigating climate change.
  5. International Agreements and Policies: Global agreements like the Paris Agreement set targets for reducing emissions and fostering international cooperation to combat climate change.
  6. Adaptation and Resilience Strategies: Developing infrastructure and strategies to adapt to the effects of climate change, such as building seawalls to protect against rising sea levels or developing drought-resistant crops.
  7. Technological Innovations: Investing in and deploying innovative technologies that can help mitigate and adapt to climate change, such as clean energy solutions, advanced battery technology, and sustainable practices.

<rant> See what I don't get is the selective acceptance of science.

The ozone layer, which protects the Earth from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation, was depleted due to the release of human-made chemicals, particularly chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) . The biggest example was the Antarctic ozone hole, a severe thinning of the ozone layer over Antarctica.

Efforts to fix this issue began with the Montreal Protocol, an international treaty established in 1987. The protocol aimed to phase out the production and consumption of substances known to deplete the ozone layer.

While the ozone hole is not entirely closed, the efforts made through international collaboration and adherence to the Montreal Protocol have been largely successful in mitigating the depletion of the ozone layer.

Here's the clanger; merkins must have thought. Ozone ? Will this cost me money ? No dude you can still have your Rexona. What about me fridge ? By the time your fridge is f**ked, your new fridge will have a new gas. Fossil fuel industry, are you OK with it ? Yeah, we cool. OK lets do this.

Science is confirmed.

Enters global warming / climate change. What do you mean I'm going to pay more at the bowser ? Phase out coal ? Fossil fuel, what do you think ? Dude we're going to spend trillions blocking this with a disinformation campaign and put so much spin out there that people will think that science is dodgy.

Climate change has been on scientists lips since mid 80's and even now after all the lobbying, in 2023 science is deemed by many as "unsettled".

I think we're gonna have to appoint a security committee.

Not sure who to put on it just yet but they'll be some unwelcoming muthers

We're too nice to outsiders.

Such an outfit would be a gross violation of our forum rights.

I suppose Gary would get to shake the dust off of his old Queensland wildllife cub uniform.

The second Cloncurry goannas.

The ones that had to be rescued that year.

Im not volunteering to assist, no forum sonderkommando for me.

Bo one with half a brain believes all that nonsense. Just look around mate. Why would all the elites that go on about climate change then turn around and buy waterfront property? They are hardly in the business of buying and investing in assets that would be compromised that way. Also the Icecaps melting is a natural yearly process and it always fluctuates and comes back then melts again and comes back again. As for the polar bears, when they first started to say that they would be instinct by now, there was estimated to be around 5000 left world wide. Now they estimate there are around 35000 of them.

As for extreme weather events, hardly. The facts don't support that at all and the disruption of eco-systems is more due to chopping down forest and poisonous and toxic human practices in pollution and waste. Clean up just those two things and it would benefit the planet and all its inhabitants no end. Only then can we see what is really going on with our planet.

you know, it wouldn't hurt to chuck in a source now and then regarding some of your allegations otherwise it's just an unsubstantiated opinion

I think he’s a tiresome windbag that has to have the last word in everything. He’s not always wrong but honestly I don’t really care.

Gronksplaining lolz.
He is on a mission to be the new Pou.

Seeing as Pou has blocked half of you lot and lost half his audience/content. Gronk has to stand up and replace him.

Anyway its all fun & games in the end.

I hope no one really takes anything that serious in the end on here.

Its all for a laugh most of time. We get emotional and frustrated after games let off a bit of steam and move on.

Its nothing personal.

Yeah and if we are all truth-telling and touching base with our inner Karen’s, I think @Twizzle owes the entirety of the Wests Tigers LU forum an apology.

He can start off with an open letter to our forum leader @macnaz .

Open a thread in the eels forum for us Wests Tigers fans. That would be a well received diplomatic gesture. A forum embassy, a first for LU.

Throw in a few privileges and my commendation for a junior deputy mod position. 4 years of applying wears thin.

In Parramatta's new home, a sight to behold,
BankWest Stadium gleamed, its stories untold.
The Eels took the field with passion and pride,
Their fans filled with hope, with joy on their side.

Against the Wests Tigers, a fierce battle begun,
Under the stadium's lights, two teams on the run.
With swift, agile moves and tries in the making,
The Eels surged forward, their spirit unshaking.

From try line to try line, they moved like a dream,
Their offense a spectacle, a well-choreographed scheme.
In the opening of BankWest, a night to remember,
The Eels lit up the stadium, fans' hearts a warm ember.

Fifty-one points to six, the score on the board,
Parramatta's dominance, they couldn't be ignored.
Their defense stood strong, like an impenetrable wall,
While their attack flowed freely, the crowd in thrall.

The Tigers fought hard, with courage they played,
But the Eels were unstoppable, the foundation was laid.
In the heart of Parramatta, a victory so sweet,
A triumph of skill, a memory to keep.

So here's to the Eels, on this glorious night,
At BankWest Stadium, in the shining floodlight.
With their spirits aflame, they emerged supreme,
A victory for the ages, a memorable dream.
. . . Have you been visiting TSP in his shed ?
