Can’t wait to see all the Hollywood big wigs and music artists/celebrities go to ground in about 36 hours time when Trump is up given a victory speech. Will they all flee to Canada?

George Brandis wrote the op-ed in the SMH. It has nothing to do with Hugh Rimmington.

Gee, you defend anything that resembles a leftie comment. I met Rimmington at a book signing at Castle Towers, questioned him on why his comments on 10 news were left centric. He just said , that’s who I am , I told him that’s why no one watches 10 anymore .

You should have asked him for Sandra Sully's number...

From what I have seen here, Gronk is a classic example of "other" politics.

Anything that is perceived as alternative or a departure from the mainstream or "conservative" approach, he will vehemently defend, as it makes him feel smarter and "better" than other people - and he can sate his "white guilt" (even if he isn't white).

Mind you, it's my experience that these types of lefties are also compensating for their lack of actual generosity in real life, so their strident politics allows them to feel like they are helping someone - thus reinforcing the sense of being "better" or a "good person".

Prediction....

3-4 weeks ago, Trump was getting on top, and had momentum....it was his to lose. Last 2 weeks or so, he has been bat shit crazy...

Harris closing strongly

Now it is leaning towards Harris...

the wild card is that the Dobbs decision could really bring out the female vote for Harris...

Selzer poll, is showing the "hidden" vote. Another pollster even said yesterday, he thinks his polls could be slightly wrong against Harris (hasn't taken into consideration female vote etc)

I say Harris wins....with something like 280-300

still close but, it's only a small percentage that will decide the 7 swing states (or 8 with Iowa)

I think Trump wins but if I was a betting man I'd back Harris @$2.40. it's a flip of the coin
