I think he'll be a little meeker this time around.

He will have a focus on ensuring the next Republican candidate is in a good starting position for the 2028 election - and no doubt Trump and his team will be better at that than Biden and his team were this time for the Democrats.

Will test whether he can put an end to shit. He wont be meek and mild. Big question is whether he will be smart enough. Biden was both meek/mild and stupid so at least he has 1/2.

Perhaps.

The status quo is a bidens blank cheque at the moment which hasn’t helped things.

Trump has been clear that he’s not enamoured by war.
Yeah he is not big on war .... but ive seen many things that show how pro israel is - plus his son inlaw and all ...... and he is pribably like every other US politician, the israelis have dirt on em all - they are all compromised.

I think the israel vs everyone else thing has been a massive issue for the Dems (and Republicans, they r both war pigs) .... but the Dems couldnt figure out how to play it - didnt know what side to take - confused the f**k out of em.

Trump will publicly back Israel but he’ll also be on the phone to Netanyahu telling the dick he needs to pull his head in and stop bombing surrounding countries and murdering innocents or he’ll soon find himself without the US’s military assistance.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we see a major deescalation prior to Trump officially being sworn in

Yes, Netanyahu needs an exit strategy as well.

The longer missiles reign down on his country and terrorists run amok, the less popular his government will be.

And he’s probably created hundreds if not thousands of would-be enemies. The hate will go for years.

Plus the iron dome doesn’t have limitless supplies of interceptor missiles.

Iran can talk tough, but Israel is nuked up and if you corner them…

Trump is about to open up US energy big time which will inevitably place pressure the environment.

Note that he wasn’t against “legal” immigration and his use of the word “mandate.”

But the Senate and house, republicans, Im not convinced they are full Trumpians. Too conservative for a start.

It’s agreed that he has a better team this time around. But as he said to Rogan, he appoints a few hundred staff and advisors and that turns into a thousand or so. Hard to keep check on everyone.

I am certain he doesn't give a rats about whoever is running in the next election.

Trump only cares about Trump

Well TBH there is not much left of Gaza anyway. The exit strategy IMO was that the Palestinians seek refuge somewhere else.

If they are going to stay as part of a “peace” deal, how to you rebuild it ? Gaza has a similar land size to Canberra. Canberra has a population of 477,000 whereas Gaza has 2.7m. Who is going to pay for it ? Will it be n autonomous state ?

If you think that pre-Gaza incursion the Palestinians were a bunch of pissed off people, imagine the generations that follow. A bunch of terrorists killed 1400 Israelis and in retaliation 50,000 Palestinians were killed (est 15,000 children) and a high density city the size of Canberra was scorched. It wasn’t 99.99999999999% of the people’s fault.
