I myself am further left than the ALP or indeed the Greens when I fill out the "Vote Compass" forms during elections.

But I am also a Trade Unionist and Third Way Socialist. The reason I am an ALP member is I understand that goals are that, and moving incrementally towards them is indeed the only way I have ever seen progress in my life.

Vote Compass intriigued me. This is where I sit.

Yep, I was a bit surprised... I think my dot was further left in in the lead-up to 2022.

Maybe I'm just so off the Greens and Adam Bandt these days that it influenced my responses. Or it could be that from the "safety" of not being under a Scomo government I've "relaxed" a bit to the right?

This. I have an Environmental Engineering degree that I received in the late 90s and loved the greens in my teens and early adulthood. Maybe I've changed, but they seem to have lost their way in the last decade.
