I'm still processing that 77million people turned up of their own free will - no compulsory voting or fines etc - to vote in Trump, after having already had a taste of him before.
Sure 75million voted for Harris too... but I would have thought that faced with two candidates perhaps best described as "poor" quality - since it's evident the democrats really botched up their succession planning - less people would have been bothered to turn up and voluntarily for either?
I guess the divisive nature of Trump worked both ways - galvanising people of "his persuasion" to come out and support him, while also galvanising people to come out against him and give their votes to Harris anyway.
