Which is why I am not in marketingStrong economic management and not risking the Liberal Party is the worst slogan they could come up with. I reckon the Taliban have more credibility with women’s rights .

That’s his only chance at winning.
He needs to throw himself at @Poupou Escobar’s conservative migrants.
The idea is to win the election.
You wanna bet? Albo will not get re-elected. Even a half sucked turnip knows that. The Labor party and the left has always had its conservative factions and support. The key has always been to balance that with the harder left. Albo is of the left, and a good many folk voted for him because of that.
That's his base, and they feel abandoned.
But to an extent you are probably right, it's too late in the cycle to turn that around. His best hope is likely that come the actual election, when people actually seriously think about their vote, they'll look at Dutton and say no, we'll give the other bloke another go.
No, he’s going to try to retain power by having an absolute crack at the right after the reserve bank cut interest rates twice.
Step 1) RBA cut rates at Feb meeting
Step 2) RBA cut rates a second time over in March or April
Step 3) Albo waits the 30 days it takes for the cuts to be seen in the mortgage deductions
Step 4) Call the election and for 45 days campaign on lowering your mortgage repayments with strong economic management and not risking LNP
Go and give that avatar of yours a taste.

I work at a bank, we want them to go down, for economic reasons we need interest rates to go down to stimulate the economy more.I don't think he'll have that luxury, honestly when you read their last minutes, the RBA have little desire to be caught out going too early on rates.
Employment is still above their idea of where NIARU sits, and that is gonna make them super cautious.
The outcome of the election. What the f**k do you think I’m talking about?Bet what mate? That post doesn't offer up a prediction.
It's opinion on the state of play, what do you think I got wrong there

Right now it isn’t Mum and Pops or small businesses that are spending the money. It’s mostly the government. The reason that’s true is mostly because of interest rates.
The lack of ability to spend money on more luxury items, and focusing on the mortgage and necessities is bad for the economy.

Fair enough mate. Who you voting for?Well that's great mate, but I didn't offer up an opinion as to the outcome, what I offered was an opinion on where the most likely path to a Labor win is.
And where they had already f**ked up.
So like I said, where do you think I'm wrong there?
Fair enough mate. Who you voting for?
I could be a softcock like @Gronk and say my local member. But, no my vote goes to former Detective Senior Constable Peter Dutton, a 10 year veteran of the Queensland Police.

Sadly, IMO, the country won't be better off with him and his lackluster party in charge.
Anyway, knock yourself out if that's who you like.
I’m sure being Assistant Minister for Local Government would have kept him very busy.I'll likely vote Labor and it won't make any difference because our useless as f**k local member in Kevin Hogan will romp it in due to him being a National, and the Division of Page being a very rural seat. I might vote green to send a message to Albo to stop courting the right, I've not made up my mind yet.
This is an electorate where a bloke that all but f**king disappeared after the 2022 floods, somehow managed to increase his margin in an LNP loss of government.
Scotty was more visible here after the flood, and all he did was the obligatory photo op, and then literally snuck through the back door to meet with council on account of there was a lot of anger around old mate I don't hold a hoses inaction.
Don’t include me in you rakija rants. You’re still on the shit list.I could be a softcock like @Gronk and say my local member. But, no my vote goes to former Detective Senior Constable Peter Dutton, a 10 year veteran of the Queensland Police.
