The theory is that if he is kicking it down the opposion fullback's throat all day anyway, then at lleast its going further if he kicks it from fullback

the sharks must be wishing they didnt sign robson now with carney coming : )
Mortimer id like to see come good.I doubt he will...But he is young and motivated and wants to play. Why would people mock someone for having a go?

Id love to see him do well.I dont think he will ever become a great player but possible a handy toiler

Needs to go back to the winery or get a job with a circus with the other little people.

I think he will go well at fullback.
great tackler, will put his body on the line,
good under the high ball, again will put his body on the line,
good at backing up, he just needs to sniff around and wait for the playmakers to create the gaps.

Could be a Brian Smith master stroke. If Mortimer has any early success there he will feel more confident and then it could just come off.

Good luck to him...

Someone who comes out in the press (I know, they hound him, but he doesn`t have to play up to it) and makes the sort of comments he makes, is fair game I reckon.

How many bombs have you seen him catch in first grade?

Furthermore, due to his lack of pace, most outside backs will just run around him.
