@Incorrect agreed on pretty much everything you wrote.
I was massive on them in the 90's.
I started following them when they were just starting out, having been a fan of Brad Heaney since his days in DV8.
The Jets actually covered 3 DV8 songs on 3 different albums - Blue Sashes on All For One, Hard Drugs on Tear of Thought and 1-4-1 on DoYa (I've never forgiven them for butchering that, it's one of my all-time faves. Original here). They also had another DV8 song, Crystal Ball, as part of their live set before the All For One was released but that got dropped around that time.
Sadly you'll never see the remaining original members get back together. Brad is just not up to it, unfortunately.
He's had pretty bad mental health problems and is a shadow of his former self.
It's very sad to see.
To this day he's one of the best rock drummers I've ever seen.
And @SadShark I was at the first public performance of Helping Hand way back when.
It was on a Triple M rock cruise and I loved it straight away. Recognized it to be a hit in the making back then, then spent the next couple of years trying to figure out why it wasn't in the live set, or released to radio. Weird...
