A real sad one for me, the passing of Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow.
An amazing player and an even better bloke - I’m lucky enough to have seen his entire career up close and seen what a top top bloke he was away from the field too.
An absolute freak of a player.

Steve Blyth. Magpies & Newtown forward who played in the 1981 grand final. He was a no frills, no nonsense old fashioned hard cunk who didn't rise to great heights but gave the game everything he had. He died a week ago. Was battling dementia.

I had the pleasure of seeing him perform on stage in London's West End in mid 2000.
The show was Enigmatic Variations at the Savoy Theatre, and was just he and one other actor.
He was exceptional, as always.
