I know Its hard to get past his face but ...look at his arm ... whats going on there? The old "pickled in alcohol" theory may apply here.

Let's not forget that today is the anniversary of the death of the greatest.
Bon Scott died on this date in 1980

Only a few of the originals
Martin plaza , greedy and maybe the bass player
Reg left yonks ago
The drummer got sacked for being no good at it
"Nips" has one of the best bass lines ever written I reckon.
Very underrated band
Their silly pops songs kind of crueler them a bit.
Greedys songs pretty much sucked
Martin plaza wrote some great ones IMO

Beatles - I reckon probably the best pop band ever
Definitely one of , (if not )the greatest songwriters ever.
And that's not including George Harrison's contribution.

I saw Colin hay on Sat night and he told a story of how his dad told him about the Beatles .
His dad owned a music store in Scotland .
Colin become obsessed .
Then eventually ended up playing in Ringos all star band.

f**k Colin hay was unreal BTW
Sweet Cuban band he has.
All acoustic
Insane guitar player .
Lots of that diddly diddly stuff

Anyway
Yep sir George - one of the greatest .
Changed the world in terms of music .

I can't think of another producer to have such a huge impact on music.

George Martin was the polish that made the Beatles shine so brightly.

Not many here would have heard of Dead Moon, great band out of Portland, their drummer Andrew Loomis died today.
Dead Moon influenced a helluva lot of people, one of them being Pearl Jam, who covered a few of their songs.
I played a couple of shows with them, last time I got drunk with Andrew was in 2004 at The Khyber Pass pub in Philly.
R.I.P

You too George.
