also just learned that Gary Brooker, keyboard player vocalist in Procul Harum has died aged 76. You'll all know White Shade of Pale but they had many great consistent albums over the years. He kept the band going in recent decades.

Mark Lanegan, 57.
This is a bad one, Mark was the former lead singer of Screaming Trees, and a very prolific solo artist. Not sure what he died of.

Played at brass monkey solo about a million years ago - my memories are vague as I was a wreck at the time, but it was a good time for someone in a bad place.

Anna Karen 85, she played Olive in that great show On The Buses, she was actually a model but they do the old make up trick.
I think now that's all the key characters of the show now passed on a great show, don't make them like that anymore

Sally Kellerman 84, the original Hot lips in MASH and was in plenty of other movies especially Back To School RIP

Really sad. When the word "champion" actually meant something, Rod Marsh was at the top of the list.

It's a big one Rod Marsh, ironic we are playing Pakistan today, and I believe it was only time Rod bowled in a test match was tour of Pakistan.
I think we all remember growing up watching him play.

Sad about Rod Marsh - A grade legend, when blokes were still allowed to be themselves without copping flack.
I remember his last game when the aussies got done and him just wandering off into the sunset, he looked kind of bitter but relieved at the same time . RIP
