The Parramatta Eels have today received notification from the Australian Rugby League Commission of the significant investigation that will be taking place into the use of both illicit and performance enhancing drugs within the NRL.
The Parramatta Eels fully support the stance the ALRC has taken with this matter and will co-operate in any way necessary to assist in ongoing ASADA and police investigations. As a club we believe all measures should be taken to eradicate the practice of P.E.D and illicit drug use in our game.
The club will make no further comment at this stage.

how can you prove it though? the player will say they didnt know what it was, whoever gave it to them will say the player knew all about it

Pretty sure that's no defence these days. IIRC a swimmer was given psuedoephradrine (sp) by her coach, yet was banned ? Warney has given diuretics by his mum (LOL).

As a professional athlete the onus is on you to check what you put in your body. Half the stuff at the gym is not legal. Like the stuff that Humble got caught taking can be bought on ebay.
