It would have been better if you'd discussed the issue rationally rather than reply with abuse, but oh well.
That seems to be your operandum these days.
Like your, lol, response was a rational discussion.

I never suggested in any way we shouldnt celebrate the results. They have done great. You just have your knickers twisted.

Of course sending a big team is a reflection that we are putting plenty into the olympics. So you'd hope it pays off.
I think its pretty clear we are building to 2032. What hindy said is spot on.
But of course the individuals still need to step up and plenty of them have. Good on em.

Fun fact: the three medals have a hexagon centre made from the original iron from the Eiffel Tower.

He is getting the chance tomplay along side Nathan. I don't blame him. Our coaching staff couldn't even work out his position. His dad is a coach and obviously not impressed with our rubbish set up.

Yes.

But we stood by him, and his family, when they were doing it tough.

As I said - no loyalty.

Make sure you look after #1 mate. f**k those athletes who still are competing after your event, that you might put at risk at the village, on the bus or in the call room.

Heaps of the athletes village has had Covid mate. It’s treated by rest, that’s all. There hasn’t been exclusion or isolation rules for covid in 2 years

I think you've missed the point entirely. I never said there were rules about anything.

There are ethics and personal responsibility however on a person who is displaying symptoms. EVERYONE knows that the settled position is the below recommendation.

"strongly recommended you stay home until your symptoms have gone and take steps to protect others"

His fellow athletes have trained for 4 years (some most of their lives) for the opportunity to compete at the Olympic Games and dumb merkins swanning around infected, could take that opportunity away.

Unless you are saying covid is so innocuous that it would not impede high performance in any way ?

The aussie who got Silver in the swimming got Covid a few days before his heat swim. I'm sure there are a heap of others.
