Yeah, I should have qualified my post that an appeal is inevitable.

I don’t have enough legal knowledge to know if he’d have any grounds for an appeal. Sentencing hearing has been set. On the main board one of the posts said that the magistrate had indicated that a custodial sentence was assured.

This was not a good day for him or his legal team.

6 years non parole minimum I think you will find. An appeal is no given , firstly was the verdict unreasonable ( I don’t think so) , secondly were mistakes made in law. To put it mildly IMO he is in deep poo.

I never noticed buddy , I can see the parallel with JDB’s case , hopefully he does not deserve to end up in the same boat as the other character .

I have no idea how Jack's case will go.

To be honest, so long as justice prevails, Im happy.

If he is found not guilty, then good. If he is guilty then he is a downright grub like Hayne.

Happy to wait and see what happens. These cases supersede my alliances with players by some margin.
